Charlie Sheen Reaches Out To Killer Cop Christopher Dorner! Wants To Help Him "End This Thing!"

| Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueLegal MattersCharlie Sheen

Given the increasing danger and severity of this tragic situation, this could either be incredibly brave and/or incredible stupid!

But part of us really does think that if ANYONE can stop this madness, it very well may just be the MaSheen!

The case of Christopher Dorner, formerly of the LAPD and U.S. Navy, has gotten progressively more bizarre since he was suspected of shooting three police officers - one of whom died, as well a young couple last weekend - as the wreckage of his car was found yesterday in Big Bear Lake, California!

However, what seems to be garnering most of the public's attention is the manifesto he published on Facebook is his celebrity shout-outs he makes to folks like Ellen DeGeneres, Anderson Cooper, and of course, Charlie Sheen, whom he described as "effin' awesome!"

Well, the polarizing Anger Management star is now apparently trying to use his position to help stop any more unncessary deaths or violence, and has released a video to the public, which sources maintain was "on his own" and not "sanctioned by police," in which he urges Dorner to stop!

He says:

"Christopher Dorner, this is Charlie Sheen. You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words. I am urging you to call me. Let's figure out together how to end this thing. Call me. I look forward to talking to you."

We can certainly appreciate the actor's desire to help get this man off the streets and into custody, but frankly, given how unpredictable and erratic he's been since this story broke, we'd be pretty nervous about what would happen if he DID try to get into contact with him!

Eek! We have shivers just thinking about it!

This whole situation has just been so sad. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who's been affected by these tragic, pointless violence, and we hope that authorities are able to locate this clearly-very-ill man and get him the help that he so desperately needs.

Charlie has more balls than a pitching machine. His humanity is showing.

How is he going to call him? Does he have Charlies number? Nice to say call but I am sure his phone number is not listed

I had not read about him killing two more people. If you are talking about the two people killed in Torrance, CA they were killed by LAPD, not Mr. Dorner.

It seems that Charlie Sheen has a decent side & if this helps put an end to this tragic situation he deserves kudos for reaching out.

I just hope Charlie has also contacted & has cooperated with law enforcement so both sides are on the same page.

Re: LI_Mom – Oh and now Charlie Sheen is a hero! Why don't you all bash him about his domestic pass like you do Chris Brown.

Re: Just Saying – Unlike Brown's, Charlie's messes were a long time ago. Charlie has redeeming features. Brown? Haven't seen any, yet.

HIs acts weren't pointless. Its interesting how no one is talking about how corrupt and screwed up members of the LAPD actually are. this is a man who may have been very kind at one point and was broken down by all of the racism, evil, and screwed up things done by LAPD. He is trying to get the city's attention so that the LAPD is EXPOSED FOR THE EFFED UP ORGANIZATION IT REALLY IS. RANDY quan bullied a disabled man and then lied about it. He is going about it the wrong way but open your eyes to the bigger picture!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that Dorner is brought in alive- this WILL NEVER HAPPEN because the LAPD wants him dead. He is breaking their corrupt code of silence. This is why they've been shooting innocent people driving vehicles that match the description of his truck. They are all terrified that he'll reveal the secrets of LA's largest most corrupt gang of bullies.

Re: @v@ – Lisa Lampanelli (another celeb Dorner positively mentioned) did the same thing as Charlie. The LAPD contacted all of the celebs who Dorner admired & noted in his manifesto to ask them to do a public message to Dorner and so far, Lisa and Chris are the only two who have agreed. Others might come forward, but good for Lisa & Chris to cooperate with the LAPD to try & help.

Charlie needs to be careful. Kudos to try to end this mess before other people get hurt.
They have opened his case. So he needs to turn himself in NOW!

Our Navy men are Nicolas Cage, Sean Connery and of course Regis. If this man was in fact previously NAVY, then he is entitled to protection as a Veteran. That is the correct legal route. Have him turn himself in, safely, to his Navy contact. It is actually respectful, and then his history and WHY did he join the LAPD as a Ranger will come to light. I do not condone murder. Thanks for abiiding by the 1972 legislation. AMH

Re: Kittens With Mittens – Ah, I see. Charlie usually knows what's actually up, too. He and his father are fairly politically astute.
