Justin Bieber Is Blown Some Shade From Black Keys' Drummer!

As if he didn't have enough to worry about with Selena Gomez publicly moving on…

Big shot Grammy winner, Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, made it clear that he doesn't think Justin Bieber has any right to a golden phonogram for his multi-platinum hits.

The rocker addressed JB's awards show snub last night, and he DEFINITELY isn't a Belieber!

When the paparazzi asked The Black Keys drummer if he thinks Bieby deserves a Grammy nomination, he responded:

"He's rich, right? Grammys are for music and not money. He's making a lot of money. He should be happy with that."

Hold on a beauty and a beat

Are you saying that Biebs doesn't make art and is just a money machine???

NUH UH, NOT COOL!

Sure he drives a badass white ferrari, but he also writes music about love AND he plays the guitar.

We know that rock n' roll isn't about being politically correct, but this is just classless!

When exactly, did it become "classless" to have an opinion, and express it?

THAT is what MUSIC & ART is all about - expressing oneself.
Churning out senseless mind-numbing drivel just to put gas in the money machine is NOT.
Beiber's music is dreadful. It makes no sense. He's being marketed to hypersexualize and kill the brain cells of preteen chicks just so the record companies can continue to, well… hypersexualize and kill the brain cells of preteen chicks.
    THAT is classless.

If you take the 12 yr olds out of the equation, Bieber wouldn't even be around. ..also the guitar is not hard, there are millions who play it. Patrick Carney has it right..sorry Perez, I know it's hard to swallow (heh) cause you're also a sell out. The only person who is classless is you, no matter how many times you try and believe the lies in your head that you've changed.

JB is basically whoring himself out to underage girls. He has no grammy award worthy vocal capabilities. No offense to him personally but there's just better musicians out there. Patrick is right he should be grateful that he's rich and that he has a dimwitted fanbase who's too vain and shallow to see the truth about their idol.

I like the Black Keys but the Grammys are just as much a part of the bullshit music industry as anyone else. Just look at the nominees and winners, it has very little to do with art, my friend.

He fails to connect that people don't BUY tunes unless they like them, and that's how Beibs got all that money. There's all kinds of music for all kinds of people who are on the human curve, and the kid is only 18 and will continue to develop. His talent is obvious, and if all goes well he'll continue to evolve and develop regardless of undeveloped genre snobbery. I wouldn't personally buy Beiber tunes, but I also wouldn't buy Black Keys tunes either. Where was the rock and metal in that flat Grammy show with no rock and roll life to it? Even some sweet kicking R & B that wasn't asleep and autotuned? Yaaawwwwn.

  6. ASIANS CAN READ MINDS! says – reply to this

    6

    ASIANS CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they can hear, and see what your visually thinking
this is the absolute complete truth!!!!!
    .
The reason a lot of Asians have completely expressionless faces, segregate from everybody else-only associate with Asians and don't associate with non Asians that much, are very untalkative, and are very unfriendly in general is to avoid accidentally revealing that they can read minds by accidentally showing a facial expression or dirty look when someone thinks, or visually pictures something in their mind they don't like, find astonishing, or funny etc because those people might see that and really wonder what that was that just happened there and see the connection, and they might accidentally say something similar to what the person was just thinking and going to say. If they all associated with non Asians a lot more then there would be a lot more people around for them to accidentally show facial expressions when those people think things they don't like etc, so they segregate and only associate with Asians so there won't be anyone around for them to see that and have any accidents happen in the first place.
    .
Try thinking, best yet visually picturing in your mind something absolutely wild as you possibly can when you are around Asians, and try looking for Asians who give people particular looks, especially dirty looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.
    .
    PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!!!!

Carney's words aren't sweet, but they're compassionate. If Beiber wants his career to go the distance, he'll need to grow up and evolve. He's a children's idol. He needs to wake up.

The Black Keys are probably pretty rich too. How many commercials have their songs been in? And their last tour I paid $60 for a ticket in a 20,000 capacity venue that was sold out. And my seats were pretty far away. I know they don't have Bieber money, but they're probably doing pretty well for themselves. A lot better than most musicians anyway

Well he is not exactly wrong. Justin Bieber is definitely profitable to young girls. Everybody needs a gimic to be successful nowadays.

Back in the olden days we called music like Bieber plays - bubblegum. It sells lots of albums to little girls, but artistically - it was bottom of the barrel. The little snot from Canada should be grateful for the money, the fame won't last.

  14. 14

    Re: MichJB

Well put. Classless is defending bubblegum pop to a real rocker. Or insinuating that its actually good…

Re: De – Boom! Go you! His music isn't just for the preteen chicks, though. It's also for middle aged gay men. THAT is classless! For shame, Perez, for shame.

What the younger generation, and obviously, Perez Hilton, don't seem to realize, is that in general, kids taste in music is shit. When you get older, your taste changes, and matures. It's not bad, it's just what happens. Look back on your music as a kid; all of those shitty pop bands, you don't like that stuff anymore, right? Except the Beatles, I don't listen to any of the music that I used to when I was younger (I'm 24). Just becuase Justin Beiber is the king of stupid kids and horny preteens, does not make his music good. Seriously. "Baby, baby, baby oh! Baby, baby, baby, no!" That's not a song. It sounds like they are the ramblings of someone having sex for the first time.

Even still, when I was the age of most of Justin Beiber's fawning female fans, I was so embarrassed by the year's earlier CD choice of The Backstreet Boys, and Aqua, that I went out and got my first Offspring Album. Never looked back. So the question begs; why are these dumb ass kids catching on yet?

if it was about the music, HOW THE FUCK DOES LIL WAYNE GET GRAMMYS
that stupid drummer is just jelly

  17. 17

Re: Cat – Never listened to JB's music, but remember listening to a lot of doo wop music in the late 50's and early 60's, then we got the Beach Boys and the Beatles and best of all, the Rolling Stones. But I still love to listen to that oldies music once in awhile (especially love Earth Angel, saw Rosie and the Originals play at El Monte Legion Stadium). And let's not overlook other great bands like Dick Dale (King of the Surf Guitar) and his Deltones. Wow I was lucky to grow up when I did!

Re: Mikey – Please understand that Bieber has a really good voice, and has even written some good songs on his own. On top of that he plays guitar, drums, and piano. His record Believe was a great album which should have gotten him some nominations if not wins.

I hate musicians like this guy, they are so stuck up their own ass, and think that others are less talented and beneath them. Music is subjective, so tired of this type of person that thinks they have it all figured out, and that they make the rules that determine what good music is. What a tool.

Im 16 so shut up Justin's music is good just cause you don't like it doesn't mean everyone else will to for god sakes who cares if someone likes Justin, he's doing good and yeah he's a talented artist and I don't care about your opinion

The young ones love him. They love his movie, they love his concerts, they love his CD's.
Leave the young ones to their freedom of choices, and don't denigrate young talent.

What y'all dont realize is that all those little girl fans will finally grow the fuk up with Bieber, and they will keep lovin the Biebs.

10 years from now, Bieber and his fans will mature and ready for grammy.

    GRAMMY IS FOR OLDERS.

He didn't say he doesn't deserve a grammy, but he said that he should just not worry about getting a nomination because he's gotta load of money. I love justin but i don't think he wants a grammy to pure his art. he just wants one.
