Christopher Dorner Is Dead, Officials Remove His Body From Charred Cabin

As we suspected previously, Christopher Dorner is dead.
CNN confirmed that the former cop and sailor was killed today during the showdown outside of Big Bear.
The body of the alleged murderer has now been removed from the charred remnants of the cabin he hid out in this afternoon after a shootout which killed one deputy and seriously injured one more.
At this point, we don't know whether Dorner was killed in the fire, or by police, or maybe even by a self-inflicted gunshot.
While there is much to learn about how this horrible situation unfolded, we are thrilled the madness and violence is finally over.
Our thoughts and well-wishes continue to extend by every single person affected by this horrible series of tragedies.

CNN hasnt confirm it !! all they said a body was found and it could possibly be his. FBI assistant director Tom Fuentes that law enforcement removed the body and are conducting a forensic exam to positively identify the man.
Per LAPD 11:07pm EST - NO body has been removed from the cabin. "The cabin is still to hot for [police] to go in" …"it could take weeks to identify the body" … Stick to celebrity "news."

If you are going to pretend to be a "reporter" of news you may want to make sure your information is correct instead of just using info from other new sources. They haven't even gone into the cabin yet.

Re: LI_Mom – He was not insane. You sound like one of the typical "I believe everything I am told" people. Did you even read his manifesto? Or even look at it? He DID try the proper channels to get things resolved, but the issue is a corrupt system that covers the police first. HE "crossed the blue line" meaning he was not going to keep secret the corruption of the LAPD. This is not a story about a man who went crazy, but a man who was defamed because he went against the system.
The LAPD shot 3 innocent people who looked nothing like Dorner because they wanted him dead that bad. The police in this country are not accountable for their actions, and that was Dorners issue.
The man should be hailed as a hero for fighting for whats right.

Update as of 8:15 PM PST: LAPD Capt. Andrew Smith addressed rampant reports that Dorner's charred body had been found inside.
"Any reports of a body being found are not true … No body has been identified, and no body has been located," Smith said late Tuesday.

Right! As of tonight, cabin still too hot & patches of fire. Sometime late tonight (9pmPST), with high powered flood lamps and tactically go through cabin with APC type ram vehicle.
No actually, they did not find a body. They just showed on the news that it was an untrue statement. They did not find a body, they didn't even get into the house yet because the house is still burning. Also, they aren't even sure it was him in the shoot out today, they said it was a man who had the same description as him, they will not be sure until, or if, they find a body in the house, and identify it.

Chances are he is dead, however we will know if that is not the case should you have to post later "CNN falsely reported….". Here's an idea: Let's hear YOUR opinion! Maybe you should post what YOU are hearing/reading on some major headline, and based on that information, what YOUR thoughts are. As it stands right now, you're website is just clogging the tubes.

You have an Ex-LAPD officer who claims the LAPD is corrupt and is taking it out on the LAPD and those close to them, and on the other side, you have the LAPD who seemingly have gone mad and are disregarding public safety and are going after this guy with a vengeance in a retaliatory manner. The LAPD have assumed the role of Judge, Jury, and executioner on this one and you're too stupid to see that. At this point, I'm more inclined to believe Dorner that the LAPD are corrupt. Although his method of relaying that information isn't the right way, I suspect his manifesto wouldn't get as much press if he hadn't done what he did.

At that point, they are no better than the criminals they are chasing and are also a serious danger to the citizens they've sworn to serve and protect. Criminals, like Dorner, do not follow laws so what the LAPD are demonstrating is that they are either above the law or are in fact criminals themselves.
It has not been confirmed that this is Dorner. Gees kid get some journalistic integrity. It will be days if not weeks before that information is released.
