How heartbreaking!

Three crew members of a reality TV show were killed in Los Angeles County when their helicopter crashed at Polsa Rosa Ranch!

Pilot David Gibbs and passengers Darren Rydstrom & Michael Donatelli were the three killed on Sunday.

The horrific accident happened they while shooting an untitled military project for the Discovery Channel.

A spokesperson from the network said:

"A production company was shooting a show for Discovery Channel when this tragic accident occurred. We are all cooperating fully with authorities. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families."

Sadly, this isn't the first mishap to occur the popular filming location!

Diver Mike Bridger died there in September when his heart gave out while working on Johnny Depp's forthcoming Lone Ranger.

Our sincerest sympathies extend to the victims' friends and families in the aftermath of this incomprehensible calamity.

This was to be a documentary to help highlight our troops. Sad to see your other trash (celebrity gossip) gets more recognition .
