Why is somebody not helping her? Its so clear that she is deeply troubled probably bi polar or she could have something as simple as thyroid issues. I know my son who was always a good kid all of a sudden started acting crazy. His moods were up and down and I honestly thought he was psychotic. Even his eyes had that crazy look. At 5'11 he was down to 120 lbs and if not for my ex husband taking him to a doctor he would have died. My son suffered for 3 years from the effects of his thyroid and with something as simple as a blood test did we finally have an answer. This behavior all manifested when he was 19 years old and today he is back t his normal fun loving happy self. He is engaged and finishing his teaching degree so maybe its something simple with this girl or something deep but there is something terribly wrong and I just don't get why she isn't being treated.

The company that made the brand name Accutane is no longer operating but there are several Generic accutane brands that are available and legal in the US.

PS: Years ago I watched a documentary on Jessica Simpson where she talked about how Accutane cured her acne. Hmmmm, interesting seeing her on pro-active commercials, isn't it.

Perez you are clearly misinformed about Acctuane so I would not comment on it unless you know the correct facts. It is definitely still available here in the United States, I was on it s recent as last year. Yes it has some possible negative side affects, but for people who struggle their whole life with serious acne it can be a life savor, and was for me.

Wow Perez, your concern for Amanda seems very genuine. You say that you hope she recovers from whatever she's going through, but encourage others to laugh and mock her situation in the very next sentence. I can't wait for Karma to come and fuck you without Vaseline! This is not a joke! This is not even like Lindsay Lohan. This girl is having a mental breakdown, and unfortunately, until she proves to be a danger to herself or someone else, her parents hands are tied.

Accutane is still available in the US. It is a highly monitored drug but has not been removed from the market. Please do not discuss medicine without having the facts or a medical license, stick to the celeb gossip. Many people do very well on this medication so no reason to alarm those who are still on it.

Perez…please stop acting like you are truely concerned. She's just a sick chick that you are currently exploiting.
Stop posting stuff about her. You are only going to make it worse. The LAST thing she needs is more hype about her serious illness.
    Poor kid.
    Shame on you.

I'm on Claris-which is the same as Accutane. Roche no longer makes it-but trust me, it's still available. It's a serious drug with very serious side effects. However, it works very well and can change the lives of people who have cystic, persistent acne that scars.

crazy woman, go ahead and empty the bottle and put yourself out of our misery.

  9. 9

5' 8" and 100 pounds is her goal? Isnt that just about what some of these fashion models weight these days? Probably not too far off, but since she's going about achieving her goal in a crazy way, it makes for an interesting media story. Crazy or not its her life. Enjoy it while you can.

I think she is schizophrenic. She does need help. her parents need to "Britney Spears" her and get her help. She is beautiful and talented, I liked her but she really needs help. I used to like her because she wasn't like the other actresses out there but now she is. so sad. I think she needs to be committed for a while and get some serious help until she is her old self again and can maintain that.

FYI, you are completely inaccurate regarding accurate (isotretinoin). It is certainly not off the Ariel and offers a cure for scarring, nodule cystic acne. You are very irresponsible in propagating fear and poor information ad should really do your research before posting.

Re: JosieJ – Ah…you want Karma to come and fuck him without vaseline? Somehow I dont think he'd consider such a thing in quite the same light as you do! He'd probably thoroughly enjoy the experience :)

so what shes gonna try to be 100 lb cause it looks cute for some one thats not a toddler lol

  14. @v@ says – reply to this

There's something wrong, and it isn't about her weight.

  15. @v@ says – reply to this

Ideal weight for 5'8" women is anywhere from 126 lbs to 167 lbs, small to large frame and level of fitness/musculature.

  16. 16

I really like Amanda Bynes. I hope she gets her act together!

I am on a generic form of accutane right now it is still very legal in the US. I would research your stuff Perez before bashing accutane. I do not know what I would do wiht out it. It has helped me a ton

  18. JKD says – reply to this

Generic forms of Accutane, as stated several times here, are still sold on the U.S. market AND can be very safe and effective if monitored. Just because some blood-sucking lawyers convinced a jury to award huge damages does NOT make something unsafe… and I am an ATTORNEY!!!

Perez, don't fall for the hype and misinform people. If closely regulated and monitored with monthly blood tests, the pill can work wonders for many.

  19. 19

Sorry that is way too skinny for her height. 120-125lbs would be the best probably. I am 5'2" and weigh about 110-115 (used to weight 150lb but since I am on a fixed income I cannot afford to eat too much). I used to weight 98-100lbs and wear a size 5 in my 20's but that is not going to happen now that I am 60.
Hope she gets well. Sorry know nothing about Accutane.

  20. 20

I think she's lovely. The list of her favorite things seems like a normal girls taste.Doesn't sound like a sick chick to me. Her skin treatment was just one item, not up to the public to judge her for it. Her family doesn't seem to expose her every move for their own noteriety. And Hey! novel thought but it looks like she can afford to live how she wants with out mooching from everyone in her path. She's done the right thing moving to NYC and those that have seen her said she's just another New Yorker. Red light bulb in her apt, no big deal. Doesn't have to mean what the sleezes that told what's in her apt want you think. I wish her the best. Moving to NYC on your own is a big endeavor. Getting busted all the time and blaming everyone else? Not so much. The public has been so over-saturated with the other one's rediculous antics that being the same age or so Amanda seems like a viable target. But really there's no comparison.

She survived hurricane sandy, even though I'm pretty sure you was getting arrested at the time or wrecking your car for the 5th time in a month. She is seriiously losing her mind, why doesnt her family get her some mental help and take her to a rehab center?

  22. 22

Don't put that stuff or any copy cats on your face. It's been banned for a reason. The problem is within. Get enemas. Go vegan. Or eat a whole foods diet with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The thing is to clean your colon and get the junk out. Stop eating allo that dairy that has 'acceptable' amonts of pood and blood in it. Educate yourselves. Putting poison on your face doesn't heal/help the crap that's already in your body.——– I really hope she gets help. She is one of y=the good girls and I do believe when she says she doesn't drink. She should just take care of her health.

  23. isabella says – reply to this

bless her heart… bitch is clearly a hardcore drug addict (not just antidepressants or anti anxiety meds..) i hope she gets the help she obviously needs.

  24. jennifer says – reply to this

Accutane is widely prescribed in the US currently, I work for a dermatologist and we have over 50 patients on it at this time. Maybe you should know what you are talking about before posting all this negative stuff. Most acne patients are on long-term antibiotics to treat their acne before going on Accutane as well, which may also be linked to ulcerative colitis, which is an inflammatory condition, much like acne, which may make them predisposed to it in the first place. If you CLEARLY don't know what you are talking about, maybe you should stick to something that's more your level, like celeb gossip, not things like medicine or anything that requires a degree :)

  25. 25

We are forgetting one thing: she is a comedian. This could be the Andy Kaufman of her career. A two-three year marathon of completely absurd off the end of a cliff behavior meant just to fuck with our heads; most of it planned out in advance and or totally made up (like the Acutane story). Think about it.

  26. jennifer says – reply to this

    Re: trinigirl123
There are no definitive links between lifestyle and acne, its funny how you think these people want their acne and haven't tried everything they can to get rid of it. Some cases are even hereditary genius.

  27. Rob says – reply to this

She really needs help and her family needs to step in. Her mannerisms are classic signs of a psychiatric disorder, specifically schizophrenia.

  28. Ashley says – reply to this

Accutane is legal under the ipleege program prescribed through a doctor. Very helpful but one must be careful on it especially women who are required to be on two forms of birth control and get monthly blood tests.

  29. JJ says – reply to this

I seriously wonder if Accutane is what messed her up emotionally. It has been known to cause severe changes in personality (among others: depression, anxiety, there's been cases where people act like if they're going 'crazy'). I strongly warn everyone that is thinking of taking this drug to really research it, imo it is simply poison that can change your life negatively forever. There are people that don't get any side effects from it (except some dryness), but actually develop different life debilitating side effects even decades later.

  30. 30

    Still rootin' for her.

  31. g says – reply to this

Accutane is still available in the United States…

  32. 32

It's obvious that she's having a meltdown and just like with Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan, instead of trying to help her, you not only use her miserable state to get readers, but you beat on her verbally as well. DOES IT LOOK LIKE SHE NEEDS MORE BEATING???
You really ARE just a bully, it's disguisting, STOP WITH THE WITCH HUNT ALREADY!!

  33. anuk says – reply to this

Why is she on Accutane!! I was on that and it helped but it has HORRIBLE side effects! It also only for severe nodular acne, which Amanda DOES not and did NOT have! However gave it to her is to blame, she shouldn't have been given that stuff. You are also only suppose to use it for 3-4mths MAX and never again!

This girl is completely wack. She has more issues than a zit here and there if her goal weight is 100lbs. I'm 5'2 and I look anorexic at 100lbs and I'm a petite frame! She needs help not pills or meds.

I've never been a huge fan of these "lose weight quickly" type articles. The problem with most of the methods is that, most people end up putting the weight straight back on.

If you want to lose weight permanently, then visit: Thanks to the great diet plans and workout routines, I'm currently in the best shape of my life and look great. Furthermore, the weight is staying off!

However, remember there are no shortcuts or magical secrets to a great body - it's simply a result of hard-work and not giving up!

as usually Perez has no clue what he's talking about Accutane is still available in the United States and is an amazing drug for acne sufferers. I took it years ago to cure my cystic acne and after 6 months was done with treatment and 10years later it has never come back and I get compliments on my amazing skin all the time and work as a model in LA. When taking accutane you get blood work done every month and it is completely safe, I highly recommend it to any acne sufferers over any medication, I had tried everything.

  37. Rebecca says – reply to this

I really don't see a problem with the weight thing. People don't get that just because your thin, it doesn't mean your at your healthy happy weight. I'm 5'10 and weigh 120 and I want to go down to 110 cause that's the weight I get when I work out and eat right and I feel great. There's not really set weights it's all in how you feel and how healthy you are.

i was on accutane in my teen years and it severely messed with my head- depression, sleep loss and i became withdrawn from friends and lonely….maybe she should come off of it!!
