Clive Davis Reveals When & How He Realized He Was Bisexual

clive davis bisexual book quotes

Clive Davis took a big step with his new memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life, as he revealed his bisexuality.

But it didn't stop there!

Clive goes into detail about what it was like to realize he was bisexual and what happened after he came to terms with it.

The music industry legend admits that his first sexual experience with a man came during the days of Studio 54 as he wrote in his book:

“On this night, after imbibing enough alcohol, I was open to responding to his sexual overtures.”

And to his shock, he realized this interaction was a “welcome relief.”

Clive then went on to be in a monogamous relationship with a man for 14 years and has been in another monogamous relationship with another man ever since.

But, while it seems like it was a perfectly smooth transition for him, it was far from that.

One of his sons, Mitchell, had a difficult time with Clive coming out which put strain on their relationship that has since been able to heal.

We’re so happy he’s talking about all this and putting his true self out there!

It's not easy, but everyone can do it!

It's really sad when an old guy is so desperate to be relevant to younger generations that he panders to deviants by suddenly talking about what I have no doubt is imaginary bisexuality. He tried heterosexuality because it's NORMAL. But his desire for the cock was too much, and he had to give in to being a poof. THAT is the truth of the matter. Nobody cares, really, what this old guy does with his peen, except someone like you, Perez, who has to wave the homo flag to make himself feel like less of a loser. Nice try, but we all see you for the diseased asshole that you are. Now STFU.

Funny that most bi men are stricly in relationships with dudes. He is not bi, he's gay. There is no such thing as a bisexual man, only a gay man not entirely comfortable with his love of the dick using the bi card to make it more acceptable.

Give the man a break! I can't believe there is so little compassion from our own! He is an older guy, very powerful and coming out is a very BIG thing for him personally and he should be praised for it not damned! The younger generation has no problem with coming out but for us "seasoned" men is is a VERY VERY BIG deal! The more of us who come out a gay or bi or transgender or whatever helps everyone "cause we are everywhere and should have the freedom to come out without recrimination from anyone, especially our own community!!

Good for you Clive! You now can be totally free to be whomever and whatever you want to be!

BRAVO to Clive Davis. I cannot wait to read this book! Obviously, he didn't need to mention it at 80 years old, and his life is the single greatest career in music. So, to empower people and teach about bisexuality is something to be admired. Bisexuality is REAL. We need respected people like Clive Davis to continue to come forward. He is amazing, brace and accomplished.

So much for the 'born this way,' b.s. which is being shoved down our throats. We are constantly being groomed by the media to an over stimulated culture. Children, males and females are presented a constant barrage of sexual motiff. We are destroying our future.

Maybe Clive Davis can start a support group for Justin Timberlake to help him come to terms with his sexuality.

Perez: "It's not easy, but everyone can do it!" I swear there's an immoral agenda that's very explicit in this post. Everybody is NOT gay/bisexual. I'm not saying that it's immoral to be gay but it's very much immoral to push for EVERYONE to not be straight. WTF?! #TRASH
