Lena Dunham Called The "N-Word" By Lisa Lampanelli!!!

Whoa, whoa, whoa…

We know Lisa Lampanelli is a controversial comedian who says whatever the f*ck she wants…

But why is she calling Girls creator Lena Dunham a volatile, racial slur?!?!

OOohhhhhhh wait! She doesn't mean it in a NEGATIVE sense at all!

Lisa's just using the now familiar usage of the term — ie. "friend, acquaintance, brah" — in regards to Lena… cause they are apparently total besties!!

The funnywoman recently posted a pic of herself and Lena (above), accompanied by the caption:

Now, obviously people are going to have OPINIONS about Lisa using the explosive word on Twitter — it IS a very offensive string of letters after all. And we can testify that the use of some words in our society, including this one, is uncalled for and demeaning.

But there is something to be said about acknowledging the "intention" of a word. Lisa isn't trying to put Lena down, belittle what makes her different or derail her with ugliness. She's quite literally accomplishing the complete opposite.

Is it still inappropriate? Yeah, we can see that…

But what is Lisa Lampanelli if NOT inappropriate!

    What's the problem? Has no one listened to rap lately? Remember when N***** in Paris hit number 1 on the charts? Can't have it both ways. Not to mention, once you told someone to stop acting like a f** you lost any right to judge people.

    the intention of the word doesn't make it any less offensive. she's not black so she doesn't get to say the word, and you don't get to okay her saying it.

    And its racist to think that only black people can use a word and white people cant because that means you think you are entitled to something that another race isn't. I'm tired of the race card and I will not tolerate anyone using it, its 2013 and its time to move on. The people who were racist back in the day are not the same ones who use the slang term today. So that would be like your grandpa calling mine a name and me punishing you for it because of your skin color which is RACIST.

    Once upon a time we strove to be ladies and gentlemen. We are being reduced to something not as noble. Reject this type of behavior and the programming. Before we had media we had morals. 100 years of it and this is the outcome.

    why da fuck you need to say it???? it is not necessary to our vocabulary and it never be said. but PEOPLE LOVE TO CAUSE CONTROVERSY, ITS WHY PPL SAY IT. SAYING IT MAKE U FEEL LIKE BAD ASS USING A WORD THAT AS NEGATIVE CONNOTATIONS. IT JUST SHOULDNT BE USED AT ALL

    Im tired of the bullshit that is attached to that word. She did not use the word in an offensive way toward her friend, so I dont think it is wrong. And I am also sick of people saying only black people can use the word, not white people. That comment is racist in itself, so if people are going to get touchy about who uses a word, they are hypocrites!!!
