Clive Davis Defends His Memoir Against Kelly Clarkson's Scathing Open Letter!

And the "he said, she said" continues!!!!

Despite Kelly Clarkson's claims that the chapters Clive Davis' book, The Soundtrack of My Life, devotes to her are "not true at all," Clive fervently insists that he is not bullying her with lies!

So here's how it went down: Clive shares a little tale in his book about the time the soon-to-be bride sobbed in his office because he wanted to put her MEGA hit Since You've Been Gone on an album. However, Kelly says Clive has his stories and songs all confused. Instead, she swears it was Because Of You that made her pump out the waterworks and it was because he hated it and ALL her glorious songwriting!

While the pop star and Clive disagree about when and why the "hysterical crying" took place, the music producer and executive stands by his story, citing fact checking by multiple sources for credibility.

Clive tweeted:

As anyone who has read "The Soundtrack of My Life" knows, I think Kelly Clarkson is a tremendous vocal talent and performer. In the book, I provide an in-depth look at our years together during which we shared major multi-platinum success, as well as a few creative differences. I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together. Before the book was published, I had every fact checked with five independent individuals who were present on a daily basis throughout it all. The chapter as it is written was thoroughly verified by each and every one of them. I stand by the chapter as written in my book. At the same time I wish, and will always wish, Kelly's talent and her career to soar to ever new heights.

So who is lying to cover their tracks??!!! Music executives are known to be harsh, but why would Clive lie in the same book where he fesses up to his bisexuality??? Then again, why would Kelly intentionally try to start beef with Clive? That makes even LESS sense!

WE DON'T KNOW WHO TO BELIEVE!

All we do know is that this war of words is juicier than a ripe strawberry and we're very interested to see what delectable turn this feud will take next.

Are you really that stupid to think that something is either all truth or all lies? Why couldn't a book contain both fact and fiction? You're an idiot if you think that coming out as bisexual makes everything else he says trustworthy. I don't trust Clive Davis one bit.

Of course he'll say his book is accurate, it's already been published. What he's going to waste thousand of dollars and time to correct the book? I don't think so. Thank god Kelly will not put up with his bullshit.

bisexual?? I thought Clive was openly gay. I am good friends with his partners niece. They've been together for years as far as I'm aware. Don't tell me this is another story of a "closet celebrity" being pushed out of the closet so their claiming bisexuality! It is 2013 Clive! And come on, this Kelly drama is classic drama to keep his name relevant. Gotta sell books somehow.

Just this morning my radio DJs in Houston talked about this story and backed up Kelly! They said that they had known this for years. Behind the scenes Clive wanted My December shelved and to not succeed and made sure that Radio knew it. It is not hard to think that Clive has a few "yes people" to say what he wants. It is obvious that Kelly is talented so ofcourse he had to say that compliment and then follow it w/ lies. He has been doing that in the industry for years. Team Kelly!

Clive Davis talks absolute shit, he couldn't be more wrong on his statements, Kelly wrote the behind these hazel eyes so obviously doesn't hate it, Kelly has talked about Clive Davis before and she hasn't changed her story even from 10 years ago, she speaks no word of a lie and just because Clive was honest about his sexuality doesn't mean he was honest about everything else, you shouldn't even have to think twice about who is believable.
