Demi Lovato has adamantly denied rumors that she's EVER been involved in a steamy love affair with One Direction's blondie bear Niall Horan…

Even though she recently GUSHED about what a sweet, funny dude he is!

But WHAT were Demi and Niall doing after the BRIT Awards Wednesday evening?! Chillin' at the SAME party held at London's Arts Club!!!

The pair were both spotted leaving the event — albeit separately (above)!

We wonder if Niall serenaded Demi with What Makes You Beautiful while she dance-hobbled on her injured ankle?! Or perhaps they were getting Lovestoned with Justin Timberlake, who was also in attendance!

Either way, we're sure the Irish cutie and the X Factor sweetheart enjoyed each other's company during the event…

Even if it WAS only as friends!
