Boy George Blasts Insults At One Direction & Liam Payne Hurls Them Right Back!

Sounds like somebody’s got their knickers in a twist!

One celeb has a problem with One Direction and this time, it’s not Piers Morgan, rather, none other than Boy George!

The Karma Chameleon singer had a run-in with the boy band at the BRIT Awards red carpet last night and wasn’t too pleased with how it went down!

Boy George tweeted:

Ooh! Ouch! Maybe Liam was in a rush…??

Boy George then went on to say that Harry will leave 1D and that he was just coming from a place of love! LOLz!

Liam, naturally, fired back at him, saying:

“@BoyGeorge now now boy lets not tell porkies firstly thanks for getting my name wrong three times secondly then asking me where is liam?…akward then when you finally got it right saying you wanted Niall instead. if you would have asked me for a picture i would have stopped bro I just did what you said and pointed niall out for you so u just keep wearing ur strange hats and enjoy yourself my little Georgie pie… It's still not cool you just look wierd”

Wow! Getting a little feisty there, aren’t we?!

Boy George’s response:


Sounds like it was all just a big ol’ miscommunication, which then erupted into a Twitter war!

Of course, 1D fans BLASTED Boy George for his comments, to which he just kept on hitting the block button and calling them “morons!”

Liam, on the other hand, sent out one last tweet:

“@BoyGeorge do you really want to hurt meeee do you really want to make me cryyy come on 'boy' lighten up … Can I borrow a hat and make up for next Halloween I'd love to look as scary as you ;)”

At least Liam knew his music, though!

Now, now boys… can’t we all just get along?!

    Really to comment irrelevant and not know who Boy George is disgraceful, time will tell how long one direction will last but it was sad that they had to make up a WHOLE new award to give to 1D just so they won something. George is right and a lot of music critics have spoken today there no love for the mash up of teenage kicks and One Way Or Another.

    Wish someone would bring it back as it was originally presented in England

    K.. don't know who "boyGeorge" is but he looks like a dumbass. How old is he like 40, 50, grow up, why call Liam out like that, you didn't even know his name and then when you got it right you just wanted him to go get Nial…Pathetic.

    They're both wrong and they are both making themselves look like idiots. But Liam is a kid and you expect this kind of stupidity from him. Boy George is a 50 year old man who should be more mature.
    But I kind of like someone playing Boy George at his own game. He's attacked people for years in a mean way and made fun of their appearances and most people ignored him and didn't say anything back. But now someone is giving him a taste of his own medicine.

    Any member of 1D will be lucky to be around like Boy George is in a few years, they'll be forgotten the instant they disappear.
    They are simply a passing phase with little talent and are as manufactured as they come, so they are easily dispensable when the money shows the first sign of drying up.

    Re: 80schild – that's a bit hypocritical, Boy George called Liam the wrong name and then asked for him where Liam was. Did you read Liam's tweet. Then called Liam out for being rude. It's about time Boy George gets a taste of his own medicine. They both should have kept their mouths shut but just blaming Liam is hypocritical.

    I used to respect Boy George a lot, but his childish approach towards this was just ridiculous. He even had a go at a load of fans. He should grow up and act his age. And I'm not just taking Liam's side because of One Direction because if he was the one being the dickhead, I'd defend Boy just as much.

    Boy George has to know what made Liam not notice him at first. He, for sure thought of something negative to ruin the good image of Liam. Liam is a really kind person.yes, Liam is famous because of his pure talent, and 1D. I can see that. On the other hand, George, I don't really think he's that much of a nice person because a mature grown old man wouldnt throw those tweets to Liam.

    Look I really don't agree with how Liam responded to Boy George, but you really can't blame him for the ENTIRE fight. Boy George clearly called the guy out and Liam simply defended himself. Granted, he didn't do it in such a polite manner but Boy George did throw some nasty accusations at him. Even if he's a legend he still has no right to treat someone like that. Just a lack of communication between the two that was handled very childishly.

    Boy George is a legend who made soulful music with his band that I still listen to on a regular basis. Thirty years later. 1D fans: I'd bet good money that you will not be listening to your 1D tracks thirty years from now. End of story.

    I'm not a fan of any of them, but I see it likely that boy george was acting like a effing diva and pissed liam off.. and then because he did not get the treatment he thinks he deserves he tried to make liam look bad… Honestly who doesn't see it that way?

    Boy has more talent in his pinky than this kid. Boy writes his own material..has an incredible soulful voice..he deserved more respect. Boy has fought many demons for sure over the years but talent is one thing that can't be denied..he has plenty of that.

    Re: TruthSpeaker – I agree! Boy George is wonderful and I got to see him perform last night with Ceelo Green….he was personally asked to be on the show Loberace with him because Boy George is one of Ceelo Green's idols. Let us get it right folks…One Direction is headed in one direction..down!
