Omg, omg, omg, omg!
Are our dreams seriously about to come true??
There were awesome, fabulous, spectacular rumors going around that Clive Davis wanted to get Anne Hathaway onto Broadway in a revival of My Fair Lady.
And while we thought this one might just end up as something we fantasize about, it looks like Anne is actually interested in taking to the stage as Eliza Doolittle!!
Okay, let's all take a breath.
This isn’t the first time Anne has been in talks for the role, and now she’s as excited as we are for new discussions starting up. She said:
“I haven't heard for a while what's happening with My Fair Lady and I don't know whether I would do it on stage, or screen, but either would be a treat.”
It would only be the best, most delicious treat ever!
And with Colin Firth rumored to be wanted for the role of Henry Higgens, this is pretty much a guaranteed hit.
Anne might be scoring an Oscar this weekend, could a Tony be next?!
