Perez, this is disrespectful to the outstanding, talented women who have won this award. While, for individuals like Sandra Bullock the Oscar curse does indeed apply, using the word "lost" implies that she is not independent enough to handle life without him and that her husband cheating on her was the result of her success. Jesse James LOST Sandra Bullock, she FOUND herself after leaving him. Also, Helen Hunt and Kate Winslet, etc. are not great examples, provided that their relationships ended years after they had won, which, frankly is normal in Hollywood. As always, if you choose to make a career out of your internet Journalism, then hold yourself to higher standards and take consideration in word choice.
