    Making a big deal out of nothing, people get bruises. And it's a small bruise, she probably got it when she injured her foot or maybe bumped her arm on something.

    Well common sense would tell you that if she has crutches from stepping on glass she more than likely got medical attention and was given a tetnus shot for it… Considering they usually give it in the upper arm that's probably what it's from… Why does anyone care? Why is this poor girl ridiculed and talked about like she is. I feel so sorry for her.

    I don't think Kristen gets the whole moviestar thing. She looked miserable, like she was being forced to be there. I suppose she was in some pain But she always has a look on her face like she just ate something bad. Poor thing. They made her present an award and sat her in a primo seat where the camera would be on her all night. She can't act her way out of a paper bag and they treat her so badly. Boo Hoo!

    You call THAT a nasty bruise? Have you ever seen a real person get a bruise? Like, while loading a moving truck or something that REAL people do?? :P That's barely like a mosquito bite!

    That bruise looks about three days old. It is not huge, nor bloody, or exciting. It is a bruise maybe from walking into a wall or door frame, whatever. (or a thumb bruise?) Anyway, she appeared to be in dream land at the Oscars. Not sure it was alcohol. I love her, but she is falling fast into the abyss of has-been.

    I agree that the bruise was probably from Tetanus shot. They hurt too! She probably felt pretty bad and ceremony and prep is long. Maybe she deserves a pass this time. Sad that some stoop to say she's drunk. She really needs help with public speaking.

    I love how all the entertainment people are only saying the reason was because she had cut her foot, yet none of them have said anything about the very obvious bruise on her arm. How does cutting her foot explain why she looked like the wreck of the Hesperus at the Oscars? I think the police should be asking Pattinson what happened to her, don't you??!

    To haters, when was the last time you got a cut from glass on your foot? It hurts like he**, and you would be uncomfortable in having to sit in the seats for as long as they do. You probably have heard, that it's a long time to sit through the program. You at home can move around and do whatever you want or pause the program. They have to sit there through the whole thing unless you are presenting an award. Slow day to bring up a little bruise, Perez. I think it's from a shot because I bruise the same way when I get a shot. She didn't seem off to me, so you must have been reallllly been studying her. Good grief. Kristen could have been on a pain med as for her hair, the wind was really blowing when she got out of the car and had to stand for pictures. Go back to the videos, anyone's hair would be a mess after all that wind. Picky, picky, picky, anything to complain about Kristen. Get over it. I think she was a trooper to get through the whole thing with her injury. She could have just stayed home, but she went and did her job….pain and all. Brava!!
