While we got a more intimate glimpse at Beyoncé recently, with the premiere of HBO documentary Life Is But A Dream, it sounds like we’ll be seeing much more of her stripped down!
Bey’s recently been up in the studio working on her next album and it seems as though we shouldn’t be expecting any frills or overly elaborate production!
The-Dream, who’s working on her album and also wrote Single Ladies stated:
"There's no particular sound that I think we're shooting for, we're just trying to make music that feels good. If you seen the HBO thing, which was great, we had been talking about doing something that showcases who she is and what she wants because we see those figures that are so out of the stratosphere.”
As she touched on in the doc, she is not just celebrity, but a regular person who gets scared and hurt, “just like everyone else.”
The-Dream continued by saying that with this album, Bey is just “shooting to be regular and OK and not trying to appease everybody.”
While we understand her need for normalcy, she can't deny the fact that she's royalty! LOLz!
We’re excited to hear the more personal side of Sasha Fierce… hopefully more Flaws And All — and perhaps some Resentment!!
Though, we hope there's still some great dance songs, too!
