Joan Rivers Will NOT Apologize For Holocaust Joke Involving Heidi Klum!

What Joan Rivers says, Joan Rivers means!

Even though some people were upset with a recent joke she made on E! Fashion Police, she will not apologize for anything she’s said.

And she's making that damn clear!

The joke she made was in reference to Heidi Klum’s daring and body-baring Oscar party dress. She said:

“The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens.”

And while some people laughed it off as just another Joan Rivers quip, the Anti-Defamation League has a real problem with the comedienne, who is Jewish.

And this ain't the first time!

Abraham Foxman has spoken out for the group in order to request an apology from Joan as he commented:

“Of all people, Joan Rivers should know better. This remark is so vulgar and offensive to Jews and Holocaust survivors, and indeed to all Americans, that we cannot believe it made it to the airwaves.”

While many celebrities often apologize for their controversial comments when they're called out, Joan is most certainly not one of them.

In fact, she released a statement saying she would not be taking anything back. She said:

“My husband lost the majority of his family at Auschwitz, and I can assure you that I have always made it a point to remind people of the Holocaust through humor.”

Like we said, what the lady says, she means.

Just like last time, we don’t think they should expect an apology anytime soon.

    To me she has never been funny and never will be. Her jokes are all about insult, and nothing funny about them. She crosses and line time and time again because it's all she has ever done. Why people find her entertaining in any way == even years ago, blows my mind. To each his own, but I can't stand her, and never could.

    I love Joan rivers warts and all, sometimes she cuts close to the bone but it is always funny even when disturbing. If you want to get a better glimpse at the real Joan see her documentary "Joan Rivers a piece of work"it is simply brave and truly revealing. as for anyone making comments here they are simply not fans and thats ok. Keep being irreverent Joan.

    The same old, same old: Germans and Jews? Really? I tottaly agree with Mikel's comment - "Nazis" not Germans. Besides Joan do us a favor and read The Milgram experiment on obedience to authority figures (Yale University).

    I have German blood and let me tell you…I will be forever to the Jewish people because they gave us Hollywood, Broadway and American Budhism :) and they rock on Psychology. These people are blessed! And Natalie Portman is just divine! Adam Sandler is amazing…and blah blah blah…LOL…

    Every time she's on Howard Stern uncensored she KILLS. Just as good as any comedian out there today. I'll back the intent of whatever joke she makes, including this one.

    Joan Rivers is absolutely disgusting; I just can't understand why she is on E. She has had multiple face lifts so how can she comment on some else; Ms Osborne has purple hair and GaGa is her idol soooo who cares what she has to say, she is quite stupid. My husband died because of alcohol so should I make jokes about people who drink too much????? Get that hideous woman off tv and in a nursing home.

    This joke was not particularly funny. But it wasn't offensive or in bad taste. Memo to those Jews who took offense - lighten up, or some people may be tempted to continue where Hitler left off.
