I used to like Johnny Depp so much! I thought he was talented and goegeous. I still do.
But he has really lost his appeal to me since he has decided to BE his characters in real life.
He looks made-up, has way too many goofy Hollywood accessories, that thin mustatch needs to go, and he's be better off just presenting himself as himself rather than the last character he portrayed.
Ahhhh, Johnny. You bought into your own hype and now you are almost a cartoon character. Run away while you still can!

I thought Depp was nice looking when he was younger and kept his appearance nice, now I just can't say that the man is good-looking anymore. He always looks dirty to me and the bohemian way he dresses is becoming bizzare. He seems to be playing one of his movie characters all the time anymore. Even his acting skills are sub-par anymore. He dresses up as something and hides himself "literally" behind many masks and make up. I would love to just see him clean himself up and star in a fantastic movie and look like "himself", not some fake persona. I guess the money he makes from doing bizzare roles and playing dress up is more prevelant than his premium acting work anymore.

Congrats on all these upcoming films!!! Can't wait until Lone Ranger comes out. I think it is going to be awesome. I too, wondered why the Indian got the short end of the stick. Always rooted for them in old westerns. I guess because I am part Cherokee also. Come visit , Johnny, Fortworth, off "jacksboro hwy 199" Come rest, stay in my guesthouse, lay by the pool,jet ski on the lake. I think we are related, great-grandmother was a Wells from KY. Floyd county really close to Wise county VA. Would be a family reunion. Take care of yourself.

Re: poohbear – I think you need glasses my friend..how can you say that?..Johnny can looks unkempt and thin but that has a solution! Johnny needs eat more,cut his hair a little and leave the hobo look and he is the gorgeous man again..he is gorgeous Now too. I understand he dress like a hobo but all we can see a hot man behind all that outfit!
