London Nightclub Responds To Justin Bieber's "Worst Birthday" Drama!
Well, we guess the lesson that we all should take from this is that rules are rules…
Even if you're Justin Bieber, and those rules result in your having the "worst birthday!"
As we've reported, the pop sensation was hoping to ring in 19 with a $15,000 celebration held at London's Cirque Du Soir, until the club's security guards refused to admit members of his entourage - including 14-year-old Jaden Smith(what will Will and Jada SAY?!) - because they were under the UK's legal drinking age limit of 18!
And while this refusal was enough to send the Biebs and his entire party packing up early, a spokesperson with Cirque stands by the guards' decision - because it's the LAW!
They say in a statement:
"We, like all clubs in London, operate a strict age policy. As a few of the members of the party were under the suitable age of 18, the security team at Cirque Du Soir, London, clearly explained this rule and refused entry to the club for anyone who could not provide us with adequate proof of age. Justin Bieber visits Cirque Du Soir regularly, and he and his friends are always welcome, as long the members of the group are legally old enough to enter the club. This was simply a matter of regulation that we must adhere to."
We are very sorry, and understand it's his birthday, but our hands are tied with local authorities and rules we need to follow as club to keep our license. We clearly didn't want to give him the 'worst birthday.' He is a friend and previously was always welcomed with open arms."
Well! Guess then means they didn't check with the club before they organized the party to include underage guests!
Such a shame! It would have spared everyone a whole lot of disappointment last night!
But like we said earlier, we think it's very admirable of Justin to make sure his younger friends felt included, and call off the party just because they couldn't participate!
Here's hoping you can make it up soon by organizing something at a venue where everyone can be included!

He could have gotten arrested, could have lost the club their licence, if the bouncers had let those kids in they could have lost their own licenses, if the kids had been served drinks in the club pretty much everyone could have been charged. His daft party could have lost a lot of people their livelihoods. Not only that, think about the proceedure if the police HAD attended, Jaden is only 14, he would have had social workers involved, there could have been restriction put on his leaving the country, if his parents couldn't be reached he would have been taken into care - social workers aren't going to release a kid to a 'manager' or 'personal assistant' after all. These kids needs to learn actions have serious consequences.

If there was to be any drinking going on (clearly there was as Biebs is old enough to drink in London), then the person planning the party should have asked if minors could come in.
