Well, that's what I get for getting my hopes up that justice would actually work in Celebrity-obssessed California. If she rejects this deal, she's more of an idiot than I thought - and my imagination is vast indeed. For the prosecutor to offer her a slap on the wrist for this, after her history of carjacking and driving 100mph on PCH and then running every stoplight and stop sign with three innocent passengers, one being seriously injured, drunk and high and all the while crack-sqawking "Nothing will happen to me, I'm a celebrity!" IN SANTA MONICA - then this Santa Monica prosecutor should be fired by the citizens of Santa Monica - because he's not protecting them from a cracked out whore who will eventually kill someone while she's driving there.

Rehab is a big waste of time if the person is forced there and not truly willing to change. Lindsay is still deep in denial - save that rehab spot for someone who deserves it.

Re: rosebud99 – "Rehab is a big waste of time if the person is forced there " absolutely, of 100 people who a sentenced to attend 2 AA meeting a week for a year as part of their "deal" maybe 4 actually get and stay sober. We see it all of the time. regularly they come in stinking of cheap booze, sit in the back and wait until they get their card signed and leave. waste of their time and ours.

She needs jail, agree with rosebud that Lindsey is in denial. You have to want to get help for rehab to do any good. I think her trial for March 18 is for the lying to the cops in Santa
Monica after her traffic accident. The probation violation is the one the LA City Attorney is prosecuting.

I am tired of the tabloids keeping her relevant. Maybe if she weren't news, she would lose the enablers and actually have a chance. The most relevant thing about Lindsey is her irrelevance. Let us know when she actually does something good.

Re: Jopack – I see where you're going with your comment Jopack, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way with Lohan. When she's not in the media for awhile - she purposely goes out of her way with her bad behavior to get back in the media. In other words, she gets worse. Her lawbreaking has always occured when people weren't reporting about her - and it's been said that she can't stand not being the center of attention - so if media outlets were to shun her (which they pretty much do, because there is lots of horrible stuff she's been doing that hasn't been reported about) it's very likely that she would cause more physical harm to the public than when her bad behavior is reported on. She will do absolutely anything to stay in the press because she is a narcissist and feeds on the attention and if cut off, like a drug addict, will act out even more. God, she's so fu(ked up.
