Amanda Seyfried showed us all that she has an impressive set of pipes in Les Mis. So is Broadway the obvious next step?
Seyfried recently expressed interest in getting on the stage and specifically noted that starring in the musical Wicked would be a dream role for her. But it seems as though Cosette has some serious doubts in her abilities.
The actress told reporters she didn’t think she was quite ready for live theater, stating:
“I would have to take another two years of voice lessons before I could do that.”
After the performance she put on in Les Mis, we think she’d make a pretty stellar Glinda the Good Witch.
Seyfried had plans to make her Broadway debut last year in the play The Shape of Things, but things began to fall apart when they were unable to find her a costar.
Despite the setback and her doubts, Seyfried still seems optimistic about her Broadway career, adding:
“I gotta get on stage, man. I’d love it.”
We can't wait to see you on stage, Amanda!
