who cares what this whoever says … and what is the big fuzz about this word anyway ?

Don't you realize how problematic it is to call someone out for using a homophobic slur, but then insinuate that that same person HAS latent homosexual desires by way of insult? Exactly what service do you think you're doing for the queer community by weaponizing gay desire as something with which to slander someone?

When you say you're going to put something in terms this guy can understand, and preface your statement with "Yo!", you are in fact displaying ignorance. I'm not sure if you realize this, but you're insinuating with your mockery that rappers, especially BLACK rappers, are incapable of articulating anything beyond monosyllabic shout-outs. Having listened to this kid's entire catalog, I doubt you'd conclude that he's STUPID. If you have something to say to him, maybe next time you should use your big boy words. How can you hope to change his mind or convince him by being puerile and more than a little bit racist in the way you address his use of homophobic slurs?

Come on Perez. I'm a young gay college student and I love Tyler. If you actually listen to his sings he explains that he doesn't mean it in a derogatory sense towards gay people. He uses it as a direct insult to whom he is talking too. I know this word is offensive to many of my gay peers but how many times do rappers say bitches or the n word which are derogatory towards African Americans and women and yet you complain about Tyler? Listen to your music and talk to him. His music has helped major me feel more comfortable about my sexuality at times, as in the song radicals in which he says "Do what makes you happy/cause at the end of the day who's there? You"
