Joy Behar Quits The View After 16 Wonderful Years!
Say it ain't so, Joy!
After 16 years of absolutely crushing it on ABC's The View, Joy Behar is walking away when her contract expires in August! She's quitting!
That isn't to say she's leaving daytime TV for good, though!
The HIGHlarious comedienne has other irons in the fire, including a possible show on CNN!
Joy revealed, in her own words, why NOW was the right time to say her goodbyes to Whoopi, Babs, and the rest of the crew.
“It seemed like the right time. You reach a point when you say to yourself, ‘Do I want to keep doing this?’ There are other things on my plate I want to do — I’ve been writing a play, I’ve been neglecting my standup.”
We understand her point and we certainly wouldn't want Joy to regret staying on the show too long, but… who could possibly replace her?
Oh, we know — US! We could!!!

Don't watch that show, but the few times I've seen this woman on anything, she was just terrible. People who try that hard to be funny, do so because they're not funny. Thanks to idiot viewers who continue to lower the bar with their entertainment choices, we get things like fake reality television, Justin Bieber, Twilight movies, and the talentless Joy Behar.

Having watched this show since the beginning, Joy has always been my favourite (with Rosie and Meredith a close tied for second).. I will seeing Joy on the show. The only benefit is that this may give Joy her own (hopefully) CNN show or perhaps a show on cable like Bill Maher. Joy other show was fantastic, witty and smart. I could sit and watch her and Ann Coulter bicker back and forth for hours. If CNN knew what was right for them.. ditch Piers and hire Joy!!!! Good luck Joy.. you will be missed (SNL will never be the same…)
