She got out of him exactly what she wanted, fame. Who knows where she'd be now if her name wasn't plastered everywhere due to their relationship and her connection to him. And yes, Justin seems like a real big douche bag as of late. Never liked him but at least in the beginning he seemed mildly humble.

Re: fid – She didn't get anything from him she couldn't have gotten from her connection to Disney. They do have some serious clout and are quite good at promoting their products.All she got from Justin was hate and death threats from his fans and a lot of intrusive attention from paparazzi. She didn't get any movie roles she wouldn't have gotten without him and she refused to use him for ratings when he wanted a part in her Wizards of Waverly Place special. Justin's team used her to get him to behave and it obviously took a toll on her because I've never seen anyone look more as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

Selena has a good head over her shoulders. Aside from that, she seems to continue to be untouched by the filth in that industry. And I applaud her& her parents.
