One of these hopefuls (above) WILL BE our next American Idol!!
But which one?!
During last night's extended AI episode, half of the 10 semi-finalists kissed their Idol dreams goodbye…
But ten were chosen to continue on in the musical competition!
The first finalist to be called was Paul Jolley, who impressed Keith Urban with his rendition of Heart's Alone. Burnell Taylor almost moved Mariah Carey to TEARS with his cover of India.Arie's Ready For Love, and made it into the finals.
Curtis Finch Jr. seemed to be a Judge fave, and sailed into the final round, while Devin Velez made it through with his version of The Power of One. Nicki Minaj thinks he's a shoe-in with Spanish-speaking voters (LOLz).
Lazaro Arbos managed to stave off his stutter once again, and was voted in after singing Bridge Over Troubled Water, and country cutie Janelle Arthur got MAD props from Nicki after she crooned Dierks Bentley's Home.
Candice Glover wowed Randy Jackson, and danced an adorable dance after hearing she had made it into the top ten, Angie Miller took on Beyoncé's I Was Here which practically made the Randster all teary-eyed, and Amber Holcomb secured her position after belting I'm Every Woman.
Finally, Kree Harrison was awarded the LAST top ten spot after covering Susan Tedeschi's Evidence… but unfortunatley we didn't even get to hear the judges reactions, cause time was UP!
There you have it, Perezscious readers, the ten finalists in season 12 of American Idol!
