| Filed under: Icky Icky PooGay Gay GayLegal MattersSad Sad

Can you imagine not being able to hold hands with your significant other, or give them a kiss on the cheek without being harassed by security guards?

That's what boyfriends Jose Guzman and Daniel Chesmore went through last week at the Westfield Galleria in Roseville, CA!

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to hear the couple's whole sad story of blatant homophobia and discrimination!

Daniel and Jose may not be ready to sue, but something tells us this mall is going down in the court of public opinion!

FFS! When are we going to get over the fact that some boys love boys and some girls love girls and some people love being twats? Do the security guards at Westfields have to pass a Bastard Test before being employed? Come on, Mr Lowy, deal with this issue. You are an Aussie - how about showing our "Fair Go" attitude? Life is not just about the bottom line, or kowtowing to antiquated, unfair, misguided and thoroughly offensive beliefs.

Re: Seto – Oops, sorry, I was under the impression America was a forward-thinking country. We on the other side of the world have the US shoved in our faces as being the model to aspire to. Huh. So you're still not ready for this? When do you think you might be? Seriously, people should just mind their own business. It's not like they were shagging in public…. Live and let live.

I was kicked out of a restaurant for kissing and I'm straight. And I completely understand! I wasn't making out but I had an open mouth for a couple of seconds 3x. if it was a peck> no problem! If it was constant, or mouth open> I think the mall had every right!!!!!!!! I'm glad gays have rights to marry and adopt kids but let's keep it classy. If it was a simple peck and they have proof then they should get money, but if it was kissing longer than second or around kids, that's pushing it

I really believe segregation is needed. If you live in a mostly republican state you should keep your lifestyle private. If you live in a progay state like Maine, live open. If you don't like gays people kissing in Maine, move! Same as conservative states. It should very state and votes. I think abortion, drugs, ect… If u want an abortion just go to they state that provides and come back after. We need to have our needs met …as in your own tribe of beliefs, because we all pay taxes and you should be comfortable living in your state

It's crazy when something in your area ends up on here…I've been in a Sac native forever and it's a super gay-friendly city. Roseville isn't much different, it's basically just a suburb to the north a bit that's never been unkind to gays as far as I know. This may have just been the case of some intolerant individual but it definitely doesn't reflect how people are in Sacramento, I promise.
P.S. — I, too, have been asked to leave Nordstrom in the mall for kissing my then-boyfriend, but we were hardcore making out for a very long time lol.

Yes Im sure PumpkinHead is leaving out huge parts of the truth. My guess is they were making a whole display, grinding and so on.

Don't know who's telling the truth in this instance but people who say they were there have said these men did not just kiss on the cheek but were making out. If that is true, glad they were asked to stop or leave. Who wants to see that whether it's a gay/lesbian couple or a straight couple. Take it home. If it was just a peck on the cheek then the security guard went too far.

This story really bothers me. In this day and age with all the animosity and violence out there, some idiot is going to harass a couple because of a peck on the cheek? I’d much rather witness affection than all the negativity thrown at us on a daily basis. As long as PDA from any couple is kept PG, there’s no problem. Keep it classy, not trashy.

  14. 14

Good!! Nobody wants to see that shit.

I live in Roseville and this mall is full of kids. Young kids should not be exposed to 2 people kissing & groping each other at a local mall before they are ready to understand. This goes for straight or gay. If you don't have kids, you wouldn't understand. 2-5 year old kids should not have to see this. Its a matter of respect.

Re: seriously – The only low lives were the security guards. A peck on the cheek—OMG! We are no longer in the Dark Ages where you would like everyone to be. Christ would have taken joy to see that two people are committed to a loving relationship and showing appropriate affection in public. Remember Christ was the Alpha to Omega and never mentioned homosexuality or Gays whatsoever. To bad your church was taken over after his death by Jewish scholars who found the worst punishment for out and out sexual behavior between the same sex to be at worst reason for excommuncation.
