Glee Goes Up! American Idol Crashes And Burns!
500 must be Glee's lucky number!!
In the midst of a rollercoaster ratings season, Glee was up 37 percent last night for its movie soundtrack-themed episode, which featured the 500th musical performance of the series.
However, American Idol didn't get the same kind of love from its fans.
The reality singing competition, in its 12th season, continued to take a nose dive in viewership, falling by 8 percent week-after-week.
Ouch.
Does this mean AI's reign might be coming to an end??!
Maybe Idol should take inspiration from Gleeksters and have an episode devoted movie tunes??! No one can resist some movie magic!

Beyoncé Kicks Up Some 
The show lacks energy and excitement… A lot of the performers, especially the males, are mediocre and makes you wonder why the judges would choose them. The judges have no interesting dynamics and they seem very uninvolved - like let's get this over with and give me my paycheck.
AI is dreary, boring, outdated and just over.

"It's Moulin Rouge, bitches!" Loved that line-! There were a good number of great lines, but I think NYC wins that battle. I liked the NYC side better for the interactions, but actually liked Kitty for a moment. NYC had the amazing "Come What May" dream sequence, while Lima rocked with 6 fantastic duets & ensemble pieces (the girls kicked butt - and waved it, too). Can't wait to see Feud next week; looks like it'll be warmer in both sites, for sure-
Lima was fun & sassy, but NYC was spicy, snarky, sweet, angst-filled and maybe even tragic. WITH the fantastically done Come What May dream thrown in. I give it 4.7 / 5 - just my opinion
Maybe AI should have listened to viewers and not have hired trashy judges…

Easily the worst episode of Glee last night ever made. Ido, was actually good.
Actually Nikki makes a great judge. She says whatever is on her mind, and I usually agree with her. The sped up semi-finals have us in the top 10 already (less mediocrity to watch), AND we got Mariah's boobs to entertain us, so I'm not sure why the ratings are going down… but I'm gonna enjoy it while I can!
I have a feeling they will pick up now that we're to the finalists
