It's becoming crystal clear that Lindsay Lohan and her expert lawyer Mark Heller will NOT be able to charm their way out of rehab, or even JAIL!
Despite making their best efforts to CONVINCE the judge/prosecution that Lindsay is totes fine, does not require rehabilitation, and definitely doesn't deserve JAIL TIME…
It seems her opponents are playing major hard ballz, as they are apparently demanding that any plea deal made inclue one or BOTH of aforementioned outcomes.
"The Los Angeles City Attorney is requiring either jail time or rehab for Lindsay as part of any plea deal in her lying to cops case. She would have to go to rehab for at least 60 days, and the jail time would be at least 45 days.
Lindsay refuses to accept ANY deal that has any type of confinement as part of the deal. Someone with her criminal history is lucky to be offered such a great deal, but she just doesn’t seem to understand that. Barring any last shred of common sense on Lindsay’s part, this case is going to trial."
Does Linz honestly think she will have an easier time convincing a jury of her peers that she's innocent and has exceptional mental health??
Is that why Lilo and Mark are fighting these pretty SWEET plea bargains (sweet, considering her past crimes!)?

Re: rosebud99 – I agree rosebud99 - what is the point of a 45 day sentence - especially when they have the posterchild for max sentences, the one who has broken so many laws, been arrested so many times, broke probation so many times - she really deserves the entire 245 day sentence (which would translate to a couple of months in a cell). I honestly don't even know why the DAs are negotiating with her at all. She has cost the tax payer so much money in the past because she thinks she can get away with her entitled asshole behavior - and now the DA has an opportunity to send her to jail for a decent amount of time - and they're not doing it. Someday someone is going to get killed by Lohan's irresposible and reckless behavior, I think a small part of that blame with go to these stupid plea bargain makers. She is stupid and dangerous to the public.
Sounds like she wants a good movie deal for when she is done all her time….

Lindsay is simply a young woman, an actress.
The cops who interrogated her are cops.
The prosecutors and judges are what they are.
Lindsay is the only artist among them.
I am concerned that jury members are typically
American authority sheep
and have no understanding of art or heros or bad cops,
or judges or courts and will go along with what the
authorities seek.
I hope one human being makes it onto the Jury.
One Human being with a soul could say NO to the authorities.
If this is a criminal trial I think a verdict is required to be
unanimous. So, one brave woman could say NO to the authorities.
Lindsay then would NOT be convicted.
All you public SheepPeople will be outraged for sure.
