Barbara Walters May Be Walking Away From The View With Joy And Elisabeth!

Down they go, like dominos!

Following the news that Joy Behar - and possibly Elisabeth Hasselbeck - will be departing The View this summer (guess which one by choice?) it appears that one more lady on the ABC gab-fest may not be sticking around much longer!

And sadly, they've saved the best for last!

According to network insiders, the creator and executive producer, Barbara Walters, is seriously considering throwing in her hosting duties, and as disappointed as we are to hear it, we can't say we blame her!

She's 83, after all!

And while she's normally at the top of her game even at that age, she's been pretty sick lately, only having just re-joined the panel this week after recovering from her January fall and battling the chicken pox!

With two castmembers already on their way out and Barbara possibly joining them, we think this could be the perfect opportunity for the series to re-vamp itself a bit and get some new creative juices flowing!

Or just leave it as is, and re-name it 'All Whoopi and Sherri, All the Time!'

We'd be just as happy with that, frankly! LOLz!

What do U think?? Is it time for Barbara to say good-bye to The View??

Andy Cohen, Anderson Cooper, Perez Hilton, Clinton Kelly and RuPaul would be great to reboot The View.

Now, all that's gonna be left is "Whoopi's View," LOL. It's about time Babz retire and start finding a personal life.

I stopped watching years ago. It's unwatchable.
To think they think their opinion is actually
something I care to hear. ugh!
Dr Oz is my 11am viewing!

I haven't watched in ages. Can't stand Elisabeth! And Barbara Walters, once a television icon, has stayed too long at the party and simply looks foolish now.

  6. 6

Walters should use her walker, and walk right over to Shady Pines
and stop and pick up Diane Feinstein along the way

Elizabitch deserves ALL the bullying she gets from Pervez ! She is a disgusting vile fugly hag who has no compassion for anyone who has a different pouint of view. Wonder where she will wind up ? WHO wants to see this vile evil right-wing nut-bar ? Must piss her off that Obama is in power, and the economy is turning around ! Right-wing Sasrah Palin wanna - be,……. good riddance !

    Is she still alive?

  12. 12

time to let this show go - we already have The View 2 - it's called "The Talk." Isn't that enough??

  13. 13

Joy Behar is leaving before it completely sinks in ratings, Elisabeth is too close of a friend of the producer to go & yes Barbara needs to find another "view".

Soooo Perez. I hear you are a friend of a friend…Akemi Williams. She is a gem.
Her friend, my son, just won 2 BAFTA awards for his work in video games.
    Small world.

Re: Be-Atch – Sorry, I like the Talk when I watch it, and I like Sharon. Have not seen the View in years, think last time was when I had jury duty.

I thought old people get shingles. She probably got that and just called it chicken pox because it sounds better.

Barbara will likely be persuaded to stay on till the end of the year to help ride out the storm of changes coming up. I don't often agree with her politics, but have deep respect for her as a professional and a part of American's Televised Entertainment history. Look at how hard she has worked in her 80's!!! Hope I can do a fraction of that when I'm as old.

Happy to see Joy leaving since she's become an Obama lover puppet, also happy to see Elizabeth leaving only because I think she will move on to bigger and better things. As far as Barbara goes, I think she's had a fabulous career and I think she is smart by leaving now due to her health.

Elizabeth's too sharp for them, I guess…what, nothing but addle headed left wing agenda now? Being an objective truthy centrist who likes all sides/views of a story, I feel it's important to present balance. If a society is giving a Hasselbeck poor numbers, (I've watched her closely, and she's not immoderately out of line on anything), then that's a canary warning that balance is needed even more. Of course, that would be doing the right thing along with standing by your people, which wrongly seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird.

Re: @v@ – Not immoderately out of line? What does that even mean? She is a mouthpiece for the Christian Moralists and has made her stance clear on social issues such as gay marriage. Anyone who needs a religious philosophy to support their argument on any topic is illogical and immoderate. She and Shari should just find themselves a Televangelism show and join the 700 Club. They would be much more suited to those who need an imaginary force to treat them better than everyone else because they say and do the right things.
