Cyndi Lauper SLAMS Donald Trump For Anti-Gay Marriage Comment!

cyndi lauper donald trump marriage comment

Better watch it, Donald Trump, you are not making many friends these days!

And now you’ve upset an absolute legend.

Cyndi Lauper, who once appeared on Celebrity Apprentice, is none too happy with Donald’s recent comments opposing same-sex marriage.

We're right there with her!

Donald recently admitted, to no one's surprise, he is not such a fan of same-sex marriage, and we are so proud Cyndi is not letting him get away with these foolish comments.

She spoke out about the whole debate:

“I felt that what he said about the gay community was disappointing because a lot of gay people work for him. It’s just sad. I thought he could have done better for his country than just go to the lowest common denominator and stir up the crap. It’s our country, it’s not wrestling.”

You go, gurl!

She has made the best point ever: this is not a wrestling match!

We love that she spoke up, and we can only hope Donald has heard her.

As if MARRIAGE means anything to the Draft-Dodging War-Mongering Coward Donald Trump, who has cheated on every one of his wives…

Why is it that you have such a hatred towards anyone who doesn't agree with your beliefs, yet copiously preach about the importance and vitality of equality and acceptance? Your incessant hypocrisy is a real downer, Perez. Trump doesn't owe an explanation. Quit shoving this rhetoric down our throats.

If you for a New York minute consider Cyndi to be an absolute legend,
you must have a point of reference even shorter than your dick
Trump has every right to be opposed to gay marriage, that's what freedom is
I'M sure gay married people like Rosie reinforces his beliefs
She went out to California made a big deal about getting married, than she dumped her
wife for a new woman, moved her and her kids in, a while later that was over than Rosie got married again ,but never got divorced, did she split 50/50 with her wife #1 ?
Marriage is a lot more than a wedding cake, and signing up Bloomingdales

Re: Frances27 – You only have rights in this country if you agree with whatever it is the media is shoveling into you.

You go, Cyndi! This woman is one of the few people in Hollywood I respect. I bet, knowing America, that everyone will jump down her throat for speaking her mind and being true to herself. Cyndi>>>>>>Dumb-ald

Still a bully, I see. Why can't people disagree without getting "slapped"? For that matter, why do you bulky those who disagree?

  8. 8

SO if you don't agree with Cyndi Lauper on Gay Marriage you should be cast out, ridiculed and ostracized in public, I thought this was America?

Re: Rose – And, it seems, more and more in these times that the media is so staunchly democratic that it has influenced my generation to believe the same senseless chatter. It has become trendy to be liberal.

Donald "I've gotten married and divorced as it pleases me, cheated on my wives and the American people by delcaring bankruptcy more times than I have fingers" Trump is against gay marriage? Well, hypocrits like him usually are.

Calling Cindi Lauper an "absolute legend" is one of the more ridiculous things I have ever heard you say, Prez. And this is coming from the same person who called the Bee Gees and Alice Cooper has beens. Cindi had a couple of hits in the 80's and then disappeared like a fart in the wind.

Re: MR Pete – Well isn't that the norm these days? Straight people have been making a complete mockery of the "sanctity" of marriage for decades. Donald being one example, and oh…Hugh Hefner, Kim Kardashian… the list is endless. One gay person's relationship doesn't work out and suddenly it's a big deal? I fail to see your logic. PEOPLE split up, regardless of sexual orientation. As for one other comment that it's hip to be liberal these days? No. I've been liberal my entire life because I believe everyone has a right to be treated equally. I fight against assholes like Trump because he's trying to keep things from being equal. Simple as that. He's entitled to his opinion and I'm entitled to speak against it.

I favor no side of the gay marriage debate. The only thing I can say is that as a conservative person we have lost the right to have a differing opinion. Why is it such a bad thing if someone does not agree with gay marriage? Why can't they have their own opinion on it as long as its not hate filled or crosses a line? What makes the gay marriage side the right side and any other view point the wrong one? If people disagree with it they should have the right to do so and it doesn't make them some kind of evil person. For whatever the reason may be: religious reasons, personal reasons, or whatever, people have the right to have a different opinion on that subject. Again as long as its presented in a non hate filled way and doesn't hurt anyone they should have that right. It can't be that if you don't agree with it you are wrong and hateful. Whats happening to this country…
