Men's health did a protein shake recommendation not too long ago and recommended "premier protein shakes" as the best overall highest protein etc. I tried them and they are good. I typically use muscle milk light for the lower calories though.

Unless they come ready made so you just need to pop it open, welcome to parenthood. Next will be the days where you will be happy you once had a clean house all the time and life in order. Welcome to the new life of uncertainty, chaos, & never ending sleepiness, along with endless smiles, a heart overfull of love and joy, and a feeling of euphoria every time you hold your precious baby close to your heart. That newborn smell is addicting and makes you not want to put them down. :)

On occasion I buy those drugstore complete meal-in-a-cans with protein and fatty acids (chocolate) and keep a dozen in the fridge for days when a quick grab and go's needed.
Those are the same drinks they give recovering patients or seniors who are having trouble eating or keeping solids down. You won't get much more nutritionally complete than that.

Heya, why not make them when you wake up and save what you need for the day in glass jars in your fridge? Not only will the be healthier because you know what went in them, but they will be ready for you to consume during your hectic schedule.

Pre-packaged foods tend to have processed chemicals and preservatives, and these things not only put toxins in the body, but slow the digestive system down. Just some hemp/almond milk, whey/hemp/Vega brand's protein powder/chia seeds and you are good to go! They will keep because you plan on drinking them that day. Just a thought. :P

How about jumping off the protein shakes bandwagon and selecting healthier meal options? Having too many of those shakes can be like consuming too much candy (bad carb alert!) Egg whites are much healthier, easy to prepare, and CHEAPER! There are many other options, Perez!
