One Direction ALMOST Causes Mass Tattoo Movement Amongst Fans!
Now boys, just because YOU love to stab inky needles into your flesh doesn't mean you should encourage your VERY impressionable fans to do the same!
One Direction ALMOST incited a mass tween-tattoo movement recently when they (or someone representing them) tweeted at fans to send in pictures of their own One Direction tattoos…
And if the cheeky quintet liked the tat, they would have put it in their upcoming 3D movie!
"Have a real #1D tattoo? Show us! Submit a 90 sec YouTube video to 1d3dfan@gmail.com and show us why you should be in the @1D3Dmovie!"
BUT, the tricky thing is that most Directioners are UNDER the legal age for getting permanently INKED, yet the promise of being featured in their fave band's film could obviously push some youngsters to go out and start illegaly getting CRAY CRAY 1D body art.
So yeah… someone didn't really think that one through. LOLz!
The band's spokesperson quickly rectified the situation when he stated:
"This tweet was posted in error and has now been removed. One Direction do not want to encourage any of their fans to get 1D tattoo."
Lawsuits, avoided! Phew!
However, don't you fret Directioners! Cause you could STILL be part of the 1D movie WITHOUT getting a permanent drawing painfully etched into you skin!
Fans are encouraged to submit pictures that could become part of a mosaic in the film.
No ink stains needed!
