Color us emerald green not surprised!

Oz the Great and Powerful, Disney's latest visually-pleasing spin-off of one of their beloved classics, successfully cast its magical spell over America this weekend, raking in an impressive $80.2 million!

That makes for a total $150.2 Million in global earnings! WIZARD!

It seems James Franco really can trick us all into believing carry a blockbuster film on his handsome shoulders as the LEAD!

Of course, it doesn't hurt to have the steamy Mila Kunis, the sweet-as-pie Michelle Williams, and the always gorgeous Rachel Weisz involved. Guess that sequel is DEFINITELY going to happen!

Oz beat out the previous week's top earner Jack The Giant Slayer ($10 million), and Identity Thief fell to third place ($6.3 million).

We wonder if James and his giant peach money-making movie will continue to enchant us NEXT weekend?

Shoot, it was not playing at my local theater when I went to get my taxes done Saturday, hopefully it will be playing there in a week or two. I usually hate prequliels also and I really do not like James Franco but guess I can put up with him this time.

I went and see it together with my son - who's a big fan of James, like me - and with my sister. We were amazed by the movie. And Mila Kunis was amazingly good in it. Congratulations James…
