Between the premiere of his new movie, Oz The Great and Powerful, receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and defending the artistic merit of explicit gay sex to Australian film censors, we think everyone can agree that it's been a very busy month so far for James Franco in front of the spotlight!
However, this past weekend, the actor decided to focus on a project that allowed him to take a step behind-the-scenes, and was spotted hard at work on the El Lay set of the new film he's DIRECTING, called Bukowski, which focuses on the formative years of the iconic writer, which were complicated with an abusive father, alcoholism, and disfiguring acne!
Yeah! Heavy sh-t!
Kind of fitting, then, that such heavy material would be complimented by a pretty rare bad weather day in SoCal, right?
Ch-ch-check out James as he braved the elements with just a thick sweater, cap and coffee, all for the sake of his art (above)!
