Unlike his Oz The Great And Powerful co-star, Mila Kunis, it sounds like James Franco doesn’t deal well with awkward interviews!
This past Sunday, James was being interviewed by comedian Marc Maron for his live WTF podcast during SXSW, when things got a bit uncomfortable!
After Marc asked Franco if he’s gone back and watched old episodes of Freaks And Geeks, James answered that he recently did and stated:
“I used to take myself so seriously!”
Marc then sarcastically replied that he was glad the actor doesn’t do that anymore, to which James responded by getting super awkward and rigid, while turning away from him!
The comedian jokingly said, “don’t let it get weird now,” and then of course, it definitely did!
In an interview later on in the evening, Marc said that James totally took offense to being called out and that things got really tense between the two of them!
However, it seems that James can sometimes come across that way because his work is important to him and he takes that VERY seriously!
Lesson learned! We’ll just add it to our list of things to never say to James Franco, LOLz!
