Katie Holmes Accused Of Raising 'The Future A**holes Of Tomorrow' At Women's Event?

katie holmes suri cruise future aholes of tomorrow womens event

Katie Holmes was just HUMILIATED and we don't believe it!

Tom Cruise's ex-wife attended Lean In, a Manhattan women's event put on by Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer of Facebook, but you'll never believe how she was embarrassed!

One of the keynote speakers, Jane Rosenthal, stared holes through Katie while rambling on about women in the audience being unfit mothers who are raising kids to be jerks!

Everyone's head turned Mrz. Holmes way when Jane said:

“Perhaps as part of your ‘Lean In’ circles, it becomes [about] parenting. I frequently tell one of my dearest friends who’s sitting over here to my left that she’s raising one of the future a**holes of tomorrow with her sons.”

How DARE she say utter those vile remarks about Suri Cruise!! We all know she's a perfect little… girl?

Wait, now we're confused. Katie doesn't even have sons.

As it turns out, the speaker was calling out a different audience member. A woman sitting right next to Katie. Ugh, how horrifying it must've been when all those judgmental eyes turned their way!

Honestly, it doesn't matter who the speaker was throwing under the bus. Referring to any children as "the future a**holes of tomorrow" is never appropriate!

I think it is very appropriate! People are so careful to keep their mouth shut about other people's children, letting the parents continue their delusion that their offspring are perfect little angels. When I was a kid (a long time ago) we couldn't get away with anything. If you acted inappropriately anywhere in town someone would call your mom and you would be in trouble when you got home. People are raising a-holes and no-one is saying anything.

Seems Jane's mother raised a future asshole of a daughter.

That statement seems true enough to me.

Oh, her talk has its appropriateness, alright. Just wait until sweet p comes home with tales about some of the other little indulged brats from school, whose moral and ethical code pretty much consists of 'I do what I want when I want to because I want to' as they've embraced their parent's codes, which, when you discuss 'it' with them, becomes glaringly obvious.

calling children assholes isn't classy or a sign of being brought up right at all. Sorry, but you can't bitch about how other people are raised if you were raised to say things like that about children. It's hypocritical.

Re: Lady Amalthea – Speakers use shock tactics to get their point across and to get people to sit up and listen. Sure, it's not appropriate, but she's being a speaker.
I may not like it when I hear it, but I listen up.

Re: Lady Amalthea – I don't think she was directly calling someone else's children assholes. It was more about what they're going to turn into as they grow up. I think it's a statement about parenting.

Why do you post false headlines? Isn't that lying and bullying? If she was referring to another woman, why post in the title that it was Katie?

  9. 9

As ALWAYS, your headline is a lie. generally when a statement starts with a lie, it is morw than even money that the entire story will be more of the same.

    Re: Leslie
I couldn't agree more, when I saw the title in google, I justly got into the site to signal a false headline because I've already read an article who said exactly the opposite … But I was supprised when I had read the article and then I understood why you put this kind of title, to impress people …

  11. 11

If you think it's inappropriate then the chances are your kid's going to end up one of those a**holes, too.

Re: sleezy*e – There is certainty a better way of phrasing it though. Personally I don't really care, but it's just the hypocrisy of it that gets me. If we want to talk about parenting and how children turn out we should probably be a better example than that. In our society it's too easy to judge others, even when we ourselves are no better.

i dont comment that much, but that is just so rude! does that person know personally the kid to be called a future assholes of tomorrow? or the parent personally?

yes, children today are becoming more bold with their bad manners, but how can you blame them when society itself accepts it? (meaning it being shown through the media eg. justin bieber's latest backlash to the stalker press)

Do not put the blame on the parents alone, but also the massmedia. a parent can only do so much, they cannot watch their kid 24/7 because they have to go to school, meet friends, learn how to have a life without being socially inept.

  14. JosieJ says – reply to this

She shouldn't have said it in front of everyone, but lets keep it real, some kids are assholes!

  15. 15

totall inappropriate. only trolls on the internet would dare say such a thing as they would get fist through their skulls if they said it outloud. What a clueless mutt

  16. 16

And if you want less assholes.. or more likely behavioral problems? I'm not even sure what she's refering to… might try getting a cure for autism and all these mental disorders 1/50 males on an OLD statistic. These kids can't help themselves

  17. 17

private school for sweepea only to avoid raggedy assholes…

Why would u make this about Katie??? Oh yea so we'd click. Good one. As for kids being aholes. They are. Ive seen parents spoil their kids so damn rotten, they run wild, spew curse words in public, throw garbage cans around, ruin property, have zero brains, and have no goals in life. Its sad. I don't want kids because of other peoples kids potential to ruin them. People who breed are selfish. Too many people in this world as it is. With all this bullying, cyber stuff, sexting, it's disgusting. I agree with the woman 100% good for her for saying someting!!! No more silence to the way people raise their kids! Its ruining society!!!!!!!

  20. 20

There are definetly kids who are destined to be a-holes! Snookies kid comes to mind.
