Another Carnival Cruise Ship Breaks Down, Overflows With Poop! Gross, Gross, Gross!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooIcky Icky Diaper Poo

carnival cruise ship poop stranded gross overflow caribbean turds yuck

Why do people keep spending hard-earned money and precious vacation days on these floating fecal containers?!

Carnival Cruise Lines grossed out the entire planet last month by stranding thousands of unlucky souls aboard what was literally the crappiest cruise ever, but sadly their poop problems don't end there!

Another ship came to an unexpected halt in the Caribbean today, once more turning paying passengers into turd-trifling prisoners!

Ugh!! Again!?!

We aren't sure how a broken propulsion system also makes toilets overflow, but, according to those onboard, the bathroom floors were covered in human waste!

The Carnival Dream Nightmare remains stranded off the island of St. Maarten and apparently most folks are flying back to Florida from there!

As a token of their apology for their second fecal fiasco, the company refunded passengers for three of the cruise's seven days and is offering everyone discounts on future purchases.

In our humblest of opinion, that offer stinks!

Omg! I literally was on that ship this summer! Back then everything seemed to be perfect. I guess it's not anymore haha :D but it's pretty sad for the passengers and the staff…

Only one "public" restroom on the ship required cleaning and only ONE guest cabin requested cleaning due to toilet overflow. There were no other problems. and folks were NOT swimming around in fecal material. Geez Perez, at least get the LATEST updates before posting lies.

Not true! There was an issue with one public restroom and one guest toilet. Something that could happen to any one anywhere. Didn't the Kodak theater have an overflowing toilet right before the Oscars? It happens, it doesn't mean it had anything to do with the cruise ship itself. Probably some idiot flushed something they shouldn't have and people are assuming it's the cruise line's fault.

Hey Perez, why don't you do a little research since you want to be a news source. The ship was undergoing some tests while DOCKED in St. Marten, there were periodic outages to some electrical systems, all were reparied by 12:30am last night. There were TWO toilets that had issues, ALL hotel services were running all day today, however due to an issue with the emergency generator, they chose to fly the pax home as a safety procaution as if something were to happen, they would need that generator. It didn't break down, and it had nothing to do with propulsion.

I don't do cruises because I like being on my own schedule, not someone else's and they charge a fortune for drinks, even charge for sodas.

My daughter's on the cruise with her boyfriend and she sent a message today saying that everything has been great, they're spending an extra day on the beach in St. Maarten. Doesn't sound too truamatic to me!

Perez, apparently you read only the headlines off some awful news site and make up a story behind it. I heard nothing of it being that bad and I doubt it is. According to the news I read, there was some backing up problems of drains but there are more drains than just in the toilet. The ship, being responsible, decided to DOCK and FLY people home instead of risking being stuck (and yes THEY ARE PAYING FOR THEIR FLIGHTS BACK - it's not an option they are making people do this because it's been DOCKED). There was not traumatic problem, not overflowing or anything.

Glad people here did their research before believing everything Perez wrote. I was on cruisecritic.com and a person FROM THE SHIP posted on what was really going on and nothing near a nightmare. Hey, they were stuck in ST MAARTEN! What a great place to be stuck for like one or two days.
