Jeopardy was wrong. She doesn't go off on a real ex-boyfriend in White Horse. In the song, she's leaving a boyfriend and their small town behind, looking at her small town in the rear view mirror of her car as she drives off into the big world and leaves for good.. Taylor was about16 or 17 and living with her parents when she wrote the song. Doubt if they'd let her pick up and take off forever.

The real point is how dumb Jeapordy made themselves look. The song isn't about an ex bf and they didn't even fact check this before submitting it on what is supposed to be a tv show that challenges how smart you are. This takes away from their credibility and makes them look like they just write whatever answers they want. How lame! I always thought this show was great for facts but clearly they just jot down answers.
