    Universal and Focus just said there's no truth to this and no one has been cast. Just last mo EL James said they need to hire a filmmaker and that casting is still pretty far off. I believe Focus even said Constantin has nothing to do with Fifty Shades.

    Why do these younger actors feel like to break the mold they have to do something sexual? What about a thoughful indie type movie? Jennfier Lawrence did it perfectly. She did a thoughtful, emotional movie in Silver Linings, not something that showed off her boobs and sexuality.

    So, Gossip Cop looked into the rumor again, and we’ve learned that nothing has changed.

    Sources close to the situation tell us that while Watson may be on a studio wish list, she is still not attached to the movie at this time.

    And with no director named yet for Fifty Shades, official casting news is still a ways off.

    E L James even reiterated this fact, tweeting on Friday, “No casting decisions have been made yet.”

    Brunetti and DeLuca have REPEATEDLY stated nothing's happening until the director is announced, which hasn't happened. And no way would DeLuca ruin this story by casting a nasty little b*tch like Emma Watson. She is utterly unlikeable and looks nothing like the lovely girl next door described in the book. Yea, LOVE her big BLUE eyes… She's in? I'm out.

    Do people really believe the denials of the studio, producers, and the author? If this information has come to light in the wrong hands of course they are going to deny it an do damage control. I don't trust the word of those involved with this film. I just hope it isn't true because Emma would be a terrible choice. She looks like she's 12 years old! And do they plan on casting this with all British actors? I don't recall Ana or Christian being British, yes, I know they do American accents but still. The author should have set the story in the UK and made them so since in the book half the time she has them talking like Brits and apparently may be casting as such.
