Lil' Wayne In Critical Condition? One Report Says Rapper Was Read Last Rites, Another Friend Says He's OK!
Oh no!
We're hearing conflicting accounts about the medical status of rapper Lil' Wayne, and the news might not be too good!
According to one report, he's in critical condition after his recent seizures and things are so bad that his family is with him in the hospital saying their goodbyes while someone reads him his last rites!
According to another, however, things aren't so grim!
Friend Mack Maine said on Twitter:
We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe…that's false!!

Lil Wayne is in ICU in critical condition after suffering yet another seizure, and we're told it doesn't look good … tee M Zee has learned.
We broke the story … the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures. He was released Wednesday but just hours later one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious.
Wayne was rushed to the hospital again, but this time he did not stabilize. He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.
We're told Wayne is currently "unstable," and has been placed in an induced coma. He is breathing through tubes.
We're told several people are at Wayne's bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably.
Sources say there's evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system.
We're told Wanye's stomach was pumped 3 times to flush the drugs from his system.

I agree with Cole,if this isn't true then same on whoever broke the news! If it is true it makes me very sad. And I will never understand how someone can be so heartless about someone dying regardless the circumstance! And for you who do not know, Last RITES are what priest do for people who are actively dying. It's not a typo and its not last RIGHTS.

Actually rite is spelled correctly. A priest or similar reads them to you before you pass. It's one of the 7 Sacraments.

Re: Jane03 – Actually, Jane03, the spelling of "rite" is correct. In this context, it means a ceremonial (usually religious) act that is done to prepare the soul for passing. I can only speak from my personal background (Catholic) but basically any ceremonial act that has to do with the spiritual is a "rite".
I hope it isn't true. And to all who said he did it to himself, addiction isn't a choice. Nobody chooses to be addicted. And codeine is one of the most addictive drugs there is. I know this because I am a nurse. We should never take delight or pleasure or not give a damn when someone dies regardless the reason. It could be any of us. And it's sad. Hopefully if it isn't true he will find the help he needs
Some one does not read the last rights, it is performed by a Catholic Priest.
