Glee's Naya Rivera Gets Super Sad Over Season 4's Differences!

We only have love for Naya Rivera! She’s been one of the best things about Glee’s fourth season.

That being said, our favorite former Cheerio has no problem opening up about her frustrations with the New Direction — aren't we clever — of the show.

"It does feel like a different show and sometimes I get really sad about it. We shoot on the same soundstage, but there’s this big door that separates the two worlds, so on my lunch breaks I’ll go over there and see [Kevin McHale] and [Jenna Ushkowitz] and everybody I haven’t seen, like, “I miss you guys! What are you doing?” I have no idea what they’re doing! I have no idea about the gossip and drama with the new kids! I feel like I’ve really grown up because we used to have all that stuff and now we don’t."

She continued:

"It’s funny because [Lea Michele] and I have been getting insanely jealous of the new New Directions because at the end of every episode they get to do a fun number where they just, like, run around. Like, free-form rock-out! We never got to do that!"

Who knows what's in store for her now that she's taking over Rachel and Kurt's apartment the Big Apple? But Naya must be really frustrated if she's voicing her disappointments openly.

Hang in there, girl!! We need us some Santana attitude!

    She needs to shut it. What did she expect, the show to be like 90210? They all leave high school and go to the same college. Star a Glee club there? Lame.

    She is so right, who is watching the show notices how boring it´s right now. Glee soul is about to be all together!
    Actually, she is SAVING the show, lucky Ryan.

    Naya Rivera IS the best part of season 4, ageed! Naya is a beautiful girl.
    Ryan is lucky that they had a moment of clarity to add her to the NY side, Naya does bring life to NY ( or anywhere else at this point). McKinley is so boring to me, imo the new cast needs acting lessons or something… they ALL sound monotone when they're delivering their lines (except Jane, Matt, Kevin and Cory) and the music isn't much better. Idk, the McKinley stories are same we just getting them performed by lesser talented actors.

    Naya is the reason any of the Glee actors still have a job since she is the ONLY reason for anyone to watch this mess of a show. And I doubt she is been getting too much botox or any, i think its a combination of bad lightening and make up that make it seem that way. she looks really beautiful in all of her other pictures. And she is right about what she said. she is just voicing what most of the GA are thinking.

    well I agreed with her been one of the best things about Glee’s fourth season, because she is a great actress and glee needs new wirter fast because they dont know what to do with the show anymore and thats sad

    Haven't watched this season since the first three shows where I found the direction of the stories going nowhere fast. Too bad — used to love the show. The first and second seasons were amazing. Not now…

    Stopped watching in the middle of this season, which is sad because I used to LOVE Glee! The stories now aren't interesting at all, and I feel like they are grasping at straws.

    Why are you talking about Naya's looks. She's beautiful. She's the best part of the show. She's smart, beautiful, and talented. Have you not learned anything. Let people be. Gleez !! And she has an awesome family in real life.. GO VOLS !!! GO GLEE !!! GO NAYA !!!

    Lol, I don't know what are you talking about. Naya isn't saying that the show is bad now, she's just kind of disappointed that things between them (the cast) aren't exactly the same anymore and she doesn't like that she's apart from the other group, her other friends, because of the two different scenarios of the show. She MISSES them. Just that! Gosh you really take things out of context. This quote is more of a personal feeling that she and Lea share.
    So people stop insulting Naya AND the show AND the rest of the cast, seriously you need to think before you critize
