Is it just us, or is Reese Witherspoon having the most exciting week ever?

First we spotted her and her hubby Jim Toth taking in a Laker game at Staples Center. Then we see her doing a bit of shopping on Melrose with her eco-friendly bags. And now we're catching Reese fill up her car at the gas station!

Ok, so maybe it's not as exciting as we originally thought. But it looks like she's using her time off after shooting the upcoming thriller Mud with Matthew McConaughey and is running some simple errands!

What the hell is Reese doing? She's lookin real cute, but talking on a cell phone at a gas pump, is dangerous. It's probably a remote chance but don't use a cell phone at a gas pump.

Why is she on her phone while pumping gas? All the gas stations I go to says no cell phones while pumping.

She should just concentrate on the phone call. She could just hang the gas pump hose from her chin, while she takes the call ……….

Pretty sure it is against the law to be on your cell phone while you are pumping gas. Hope this pic doesn't get her into trouble with the higher ups!

Re: thebigboot – There is a reason they are known as CELEBUTARDS….kinda reminds me of the scene from Zoolander, where the stupid, vapid pretty boy models all went up in flames for having lit up a fire @ the gas pumps. The people get to where they are in their world due to connections, sleeping with a higher -up, providing drugs….NOT becuase they are smart ! . She really oughta know better…….

Interesting. Not really sure if it is really dangerous to use a cell phone at the gas station but I am sure its prohibited hehe well….

Re: mick – fumes, and I'm not an expert on what it takes to light the screen of a phone, or what kind of electrical signals are going through certain phones, but….

Is it OK to use cell phones while pumping gas now? I keep mine in the car, they used to emit a small amount of static.

Why is she always on her cell phone? Every picture of her in the past year has been with that cell phone to her ear. Is she posing for the paps?

She is apparently quite selfish if she's using her cell phone while pumping gas. If you want to kill yourself, go do it, but don't expose everyone around you to the danger of an explosion caused by your stupidity.

I did not know that was dangerous, and never noticed any signs, but then I seldom use my cell phone either. Thanks for the info folks.
