We're not sure if it's the new BF, the brown hair, or the Vegas residency deal, but whatever the reason may be, we haven't seen Britney Spears acting this much like her old self in a seriously long time!
ESPECIALLY after you hear this!
According to reports, the pop starlet was on her way in to an El Lay pharmacy when she overheard a homeless man by the door begging for change, and immediately went to a nearby ATM and withdrew $100 just to give to him!
Isn't that just so unbelievably compassionate?
Apparently, however, the sentimental moment quickly turned into a HIGHlarious miscommunication, as the man was so overtaken with gratitude that he startled her and caused her to scream by picking her up in a big bear hug, prompting security to confuse the situation for a robbery!
“The store’s security guard came running and snatched the money out of the guy’s hand, shooing him away. But Britney said, ‘No!…No! Give this man his money back! I gave it to him!’ She’s often seen as a wacky diva, but most times her heart’s in the right place.”
Can U even imagine what this entire scenario must have been like for passersby?!

But we're so happy to hear about our Brit Brit's supreme generosity! It sets such a good example for her boys!

It feels good to help! I always try to do what I can, even at times when I myself was struggling pretty bad.
She may have restored his faith in humanity, which may lead to him improving his life. She's financially successful, so it's nice she reached out to the less fortunate.

I LOVE BRITNEY!!! Beautiful gorgeous and very generous. She helped out someone in need and that is all that matters. No one knows what the homeless man was going thru at that moment so if he got excited by accident and freaked her out I'm sure its because no one else gave a helping hand that day. This is why she always has good karma like Mary J Blige said Britney treats people right thats why she has gone far in her career. She is the most beautiful person in the planet.
I give when I can, at least once a month, to two homeless shelters and sometimes to Habitat for Humanity which helps get people on their feet. When I go to the local post office there are usually folks begging for change, and that is what I give them, as it is obvious that some of them are alcoholics or on crack. Some of the folks who go to the post office often (I seldom have to visit in person) have clued me in on who is legit and who is not. Very helpful.
