It seems pretty automatic to us at this point that even if you never planned on your movie making a sequel, if it hits $200 million world-wide, a sequel is going to happen… no matter what! LOLz!

Paramount has now officially announced that a sequel IS in development — even though most of that $200m came from overseas, because it underperformed here in the U.S. with a boring $18m opening. They say it cost somewhere between $50m and $83m depending on who you talk to, but neither of those numbers make the $18m opening look pretty!
Here's some trivia for your beautiful booties: did you know that Will Ferrell helped produce the first one, and is expected to return with Adam McKay for the sequel?? It's true!
