Of course she doesn't want to turn her life around! She's rich, she doesn't need to work, so all she only wants is to party hard!!!! She needs to move to a more liberal country, US authorities are such a pain in the ass!
Sadly I dont think she can help herself at this stage and her family only seem to make matters worse. She is one of my favourite actresses as a kid and young teen so I really want her to get help. Guess you cannot help someone until they get so low they actually want to change.
I think unfortunately, the only thing Lindsay can do is get the hell out of the eye of camera's, get a job, and that's that. Sell everything she actually owns, pay as much as she can, keep some and disappear. And quit the shit. Smoke some cigarettes, bake some maijuana cookies, and stay away from everything else. Go live in a cabin in a forest community, get a job, make some genuine friends, based on true personality, and stay away from media. Hide.

I can't believe they gave her 45 days to go to rehab. I really don't know if she'll survive it. If she was getting her act together at all, she would already be in rehab.
The judges are putting everyone else on lock down bobby brown for one cause oof a DUI, but Lohan can do drugs, lie to the cops, DUI! And just what is she doing walking the streets doing what ever she wants that's why she don't respect the law, everybody talking about give her a break…lock her up along with her drunk and drugged out mom!

Disagree Perez. Who do you know that is from a very dysfunctional background that has been able to rise above it? And no, do not try to name yourself. You are an only child as far as I can see, and your mother's pride and joy. Her parents basically see her as a meal ticket. You have had about a million times more opportunities than Lohan. Not her fault. Also, the constant abuse she receives from people is not helping her either.
Well said and I think, true advice. Unfortunately I think we are just witnessing another child star who bought into the hype people told them about how wonderful they are and who don't understand that you actually have to keep on working at your craft to perfect it. There are plenty of famous, talented people who do not have her problems.
Lindsay Lohan has narcissistic personality disorder - this is not a disease that people are born with (like Britney and bi-polar disease) - it something that is brought about by being rewarded for spoiled, rotten, assholic, entitled bad behavior. Every time Lohan is sent to jail - she is rewarded by huge sums of money for interviews, or books. The more notorius she is the more work she gets to bring attention to ugly fashion or subpar products like Mr. Pink. You are right in that she has no incentive since she can do what she likes - but she has lost everything and will soon lose her freedom and her soul. I don't think she's going to off herself on drugs. She has never ODed or suffered seizures like Lil' Wayne or even had her stomach pumped like half the rock stars in this world. She seems to have a certain care with drugs - just enough care to live - but not enough care to become an actress again. And honestly - her talent was way overrated. After "I Know Who Killed Me" her acting chops were gone - and Liz & Dick was the final coup de grace to the notion that "poor Lindsay, she's so talented" was true - it wasn't true, it was a delusion on Lohan's part. For Lohan to shape up - three things must happen, media must stop reporting on her, all nightclubs and product endorsement deals must dry up - and lastly - she needs to be sentenced to three years in prison. That will change her.
The coat looks great even though it's a little large. But Perez, don't be a pack rat like Lohan. Sell or auction off your clothes for charity. The big sized clothes are of no use to you anymore and they sure aren't helping a family who's struggling to make ends meet in this "supposed" recovery. Do the right thing and clean out your closet. You look great now and don't need those big jackets.
You seem to care in some weird way. I propose you take a voluntary 1 year hiatus from writing about her. No matter what she does. Encourage other colleagues to do the same. But regardless, do it yourself. I do think all the coverage makes the problem worse. You certainly should never post that gun photo with your commentary. It's all too salacious. You're actively contributing. I too should stop reading about it.
She should be sent to jail. She hammered this deal because she was scared and of course, once again she has spit in the face of justice. Maybe she needs that wake up call and be scared and suffer real life consequences like everyone else in the world does! Rehab isn't going to work because she doesn't think she has a problem. She's not going to change or "be saved" because there is ZERO incentive to do so. She hired a fucking moron for a lawyer and STILL got the easy route. She needs to go before a judge that isn't a star-fucker (if that even exists) and get some real punishment!! Until then, doubt she will make it past 30.

I honestly think she may be too far gone…I dont know..I think if she does turn her life around its going to be when shes much older. she just seems like she has true mental issues, like narcissism, among other things….Like her level of denial and rationalization and lying…is out of control. Ive seen probably (cant sure for sure cause I dont know her personally), but Ive seen much worse drug abusers that used and abused hard drugs for decades get clean and stay sober and clean for years, and even the rest of their life, but just has no willingness, and I really dont think shes hit a bottom that has been rough enough for her to have the gift of desperation that makes people wanna change their lives and do the hard work that it takes to do so. So sad. by the way, by enabling her, its more than just just annoying when her parents or media enables her, its actually helping to end her life…enabling kills people in the end. You are protecting someone from their bottom when you enable them, and the intentions are often good, but what happens is they never feel just enough pain to wanna change, and so they never do, and they die.
She had many a saving chance, she doesn't deserve saving, there are a lot more people worse off.

Maybe they knew there was no locked rehab in New York, so they'll get an unlocked one and promise she'll stay there. She could go to jail down the road; the IRS likes to get paid and won't mess around if they don't; for example, Wesley Snipes. She'll probably get a finite time to pay off the back taxes and after that, hello toilet cleaning in an orange jumpsuit.
