Elisabeth Hasselbeck May Find A New Home At CNN!
If the rumors of Elisabeth Hasselbeck's imminent departure from The View are true, it sounds like she'll have no problem landing on her feet!
After all, homegurl IS a survivor! Ha!
With Soledad O'Brien and Roland Martin recently getting the axe, it looks like new network president Jeff Zucker is playing a little game we like to call Extreme Makeover: CNN Edition! A source close to the situation says they are definitely looking to fill some of these open anchor positions, and Elisabeth could be on their short list:
"We hear CNN honcho Jeff Zucker is interested in seeing her join his cable channel."
Although it's still unclear how the network would plan on using the former survivor, there's already speculation that she would be paired up with current CNN hosts Chris Cuomo or Erin Burnett for an early morning talk show.
Zucker has a pretty impressive track record considering he helped turn around the Today show and turned Katie Couric into a superstar! If Elisabeth DOES end up parting ways with The View, this could end up being a great move for her!
