If you were born in the 80s and are a straight lady/gay male then there is a good chance Jonathan Taylor Thomas was your first MAJOR crush…
He was the voice of young SIMBA for crying out loud!
But after being one of Disney's BIGGEST tween heartthrobs, JTT suddenly disappeared from Hollywood, and the entertainment world would never be the same… until, of course, Zac Efron came along! LOLzz!
As a teaser for his upcoming guest role on Tim Allen's Last Man Standing, The Home Improvement star recently dished about his decision to leave the fame game.
"I'd been going nonstop since I was 8 years old. I wanted to go to school, to travel and have a bit of a break… To sit in a big library amongst books and students, that was pretty cool. It was a novel experience for me.
I never took the fame too seriously. It was a great period in my life, but it doesn't define me. When I think back on the time, I look at it with a wink. I focus on the good moments I had, not that I was on a lot of magazine covers."
Sounds like he has a clever AND handsome head on those shoulders!
BUT after spending time at Harvard, Columbia AND St. Andrew's University in Scotland, it seems the former floppy-haired dude is exploring the entertainment world once again, as he's been busy reading scripts, and one day he'd like to direct!
We welcome you back with OPEN
LEGS ARMS, JTT!
Ch-ch-check out some promo shots from Jonathan's cameo on Last Man Standing (below)!
