Rihanna FOUR HOURS LATE To Charity Appearance For High School Students!

Rihanna may be known as the Queen of No F-ckery, but in all honesty, this is one situation through which we WISH she had just had more f-cks to give!

It hasn't been the best of weeks for the pop sensation, whose tour bus was recently busted with weed at the Canadian border a few days back, and now, she's incurred massive amounts of criticism for apparently leaving 2,500 high school students waiting over FOUR HOURS for what ended up being only a 16 minute appearance this past Thursday!

And they were her CONTEST WINNERS, no less!

Apparently, Barrington High School in Chicago won a contest sponsored by the singer, which prompted students to produce videos highlighting their charitable work to the tune of her single Diamonds!

The prize, of course, was a special appearance by RiRi herself, but much to the dismay of the countless excited fans crammed into their school's gymnasium waiting for the singer's expected arrival of 1pm, she kept them waiting for over FOUR HOURS…and finally rolled in well after 5pm!

Her excuse?

This post on Twitter an hour an a half into the students' wait-time:

Furthermore, once gurl DID arrive, all she said about the entire ordeal was:

"Thank you guys for coming and waiting."

And 16 minutes later, she was off to prepare for her show at the United Center!

YEESH! SO unprofessional!

And not only that, these are KIDS who look up to her!

If you don't want to be a role model, that's fine, gurl, but then don't make the effort to reach out to our country's youth and promote charity if you can't even follow through with your end of the deal!

Such a shame.

Did Rihanna not send your offspring a present? When Bieber stays backstage refusing to go out in pure arrogance you find reasons to defend him. Rihanna is late and makes a clear implication that it was for reasons beyond her control you put her on blast.

Now on to sum serious wtf, omg,ycbs,gtfoh, type message to rihanna. I dont know why would her behind even want to start a darn charity if she is going to let the school down. Those kids worked hard, they really did and what she does best, allow her habit(and you know perez what habit im suggesting, can you say blow much..)to take up her time to those kids. Than not only shows up late to her own charity, but than gives them less than 20 mins of her time, R U F'n serious. thats so out of line , unprofessional and just plain on ridiculous. Honestly my child went to that school I would have been so upset and deeply furious, to see your child put i so much work and dedication, only to be let down by some pompous, lowlife, itch with a b let so many kids down but still wants fan.
Honestly I say F rihanna and weed or coke(but i digress) antics. All here fans young and adult need to leave her alone because clearly she has other things on her lowlevel mind.

Far As my opinion goes, I think shes a sad case and those kids didnt deserve to be treated that way. It makes no sense for her to show up that late to an event. She should have canceled if she knew she was going to be that late. I feel for those kids and I hope this shows you what type of person rihanna is.

Re: A7X – Crawl out of Rihanna's vag, there's no excuse for being 5 HOURS LATE! Not for a charity event, or kids I mean come on! Traffic is something that you plan ahead for & I've never seen any kind of traffic that put anyone back 4 and a half hours. Bottom line she's just plain rude and unprofessional!

i live real close to barrington. chicago traffic does not make u 4 hours late for anything unless there was a nuclear waste spill on the freeway. face it, she was getting drugged up. druggies r flakey and dont care about following through with shit. not to mention druggies make great liars and would totally put a picture of some cars on instagram as an excuse

My point was this only, Perez picks and chooses who he criticizes and who he doesn't. Bieber was late out of arrogance and gave some weak ass excuses for it and Perez tries to defend him, Rihanna does the same and she's branded unprofessional. Mario is a cretin, that was the basis of my comment I gave no bias towards or against Rihanna, don't put words in my mouth

WHAT?!?! Perez is actually crawling out of Rihanna's ass to scold her for inappropriate behavior?! For once her bad attitude isn't just chalked up to being "fierce"? I can't believe it! I thought I would never see the day when Perez would call out his precious RiRi on her bullshit! And I don't care why Rihanna was four hours late, she could've at least tried to make it up to these kids, since this was something she signed up for! Maybe if this happens enough, people will stop buying her albums that she releases every six months!

Hahahaha this was definitely rude! You get to know a person by her actions and with her actions she's just proving to be anything but polite. I do feel sorry for those kids that had been waiting for her just so they can be dissapointed by her. And this is something somehow I didn'tget to see in the news and I don't know why. I used to be her fans because I thought she was unique and confident but now I realize she's just another snob DIVA but in the end I feel sorry for her. Poor R her life is a mess.

I was at this event for 7 hours before I left. What a joke. I was so disappointed. They kept telling us that rihanna was right around the corne multiple times, bull shit. She was at the united center warming up the entire time. She didnt even leave the city to come to our school until 4:30. Total bitch. I'm glad I didn't wait an extra hour for a 15 minute appearance, which was supposed to be an hour long.

Rihanna said she wanted to honor is because of all the charity work we have done, but she was rude and disrespectful to do this. And the DUMB ASSES that waited 5 hours and cheered for her when she arrived should have booed her off the stage.

4 hours late for this… always 1+ hours late for her concerts, its getting ridiculous. but shes been like this since shes been on the scene. she did a summer concert i went too when she first came out, she was closing the show, so she had tons of time to get there, and she still managed to have people wait around for about 45 minutes.

Rihanna's tour bus was not at the Canadian border. It was at the American border crossing, trying to get in to the United States. The US border patol pulled the bus over to second inspection. She had performed in Toronto, Canada the night before and was crossing to prepare for her concert in Detroit.
