The breathy, Mad Men-era baby doll songstress took to Twitter last night to debut the music video for her brand new cover of the Leonard Cohen classic, Chelsea Hotel #2, and suffice to say, it is everything we ADORE about our her: hypnotic, melancholic, and simply BEAUTIFUL!
Ch-ch-check out our beloved Lana Banana as she softly croons the words Cohen originally wrote for Janis Joplin in a dark room, filled with the smoke of Marlboro Reds (above)!
We don't know about you, but we are DIGGING how much she's pulled back and shown some restraint here!
It really accentuates just how raw and powerful her vocals are, and that WORKS for this song BIG TIME!
