Beyonce And Jay-Z 'Very Relaxed And Happy' On 5th Anniversary Cuba Trip!

Beyonce and Jay-Z seem to be having a fabulous time in Cuba! Celebrating their fifth anniversary, the married couple dined at La Guardia restaurant Wednesday night and were joined by their mothers and another male.

Though the two are usually very private about their personal lives, the restaurant’s manager, Beberan Aemereca, didn’t keep from indulging the press with some details, including Bey and Jay’s menu and drinks! He said the couple “ate chicken with honey and lemon, a restaurant specialty, and had mixed appetizers,” while Bey enjoyed a lemon daquari and Jay a mojito, all followed by some red wine.

Bey was wearing a black and white dress, and "looked very beautiful” without any makeup on.

Beberan also added:

"They both looked very relaxed and were having a good time… They looked like a family, like a family dinner. It was like they were on vacation and were very relaxed and happy."

And Jay was even presented with a cigar on behalf of the restaurant! Beberan revealed:

"He smoked it here and she [Beyoncé] took some photos of him while he was smoking it. She didn't smoke it.”

Beyonce may not have smoked, but she sure did show some love for the restaurant's employees and posed for photos with them after dinner! SO SWEET!

Talk about some well-deserved R&R!!

Wait so if I go to Cuba the state dept comes a knockin on my door but these two go and it's all good??? Bulls**t. If nothing comes out of this is simply reinforces what we already know, there is one set of laws for Ham-n-Eggers like us and another for the rich and famous.

Please read up on some of the things that Yoani has been doing in Miami, wonderful messages for the future of Cuba! Maybe you can feature her messages as a post on your blog, that is all I am saying . All the best to you Perez! Con todo mi sinceridad  sending you lots of love and congrats on the baby! I hope Abuela will teach him his first words in Spanish and have him eating potajes in no time <3 !!!!!!!!!! - Margaux Cruzet a former MIamian, current Atlantan, but forever a Cuban.

This is a crucial time for Cubans, their minds ears and lips should not be filled with the thoughts of forgive me- Beyoncé and Jay Z ( I love her btw…) they should be looking towards Yoani for strength. Where is the Humanitarianism??? I am not asking you to start a revolution, but you can use your forces for even more good if you at least bring issues into the limelight the way you do with LGBT and other issues you are passionate about. I will always be a fan but I could not help but mention this to you

While Jay Z and Beyoncé get to enjoy the best that Cuba has to offer many people are not even allowed to walk into those places. Being a Cuban yourself, I am surprised that you would not at least mention this dichotomy and use the voice and enormous platform you have created to help the people of Cuba raise awareness of the rampant human rights offenses that occur on daily basis there. Yoani Sanchez is currently traveling all over the world spreading a message of Cuban unification and now these people decide to go to Cuba probably just because they threw a dart on a map…….. And distract and divide the message of Yoani from the people on the island and only focus on pretentious news…. The news in Cuba will be not what Yoani is doing for them but instead what two celebrities are wearing, eating, drinking, smoking…. Etc

I am a huge fan of your site, and a Miami native just like you. I am honored whenever a fellow Cuban achieves success. I love your posts and the things you report and your site helps me get through the low points of my work day!!! That being said, there are many talented Cubans who can never have this dream because they live in a communist state- as you very well know and have probably been bombarded by the stories your whole life. This has been the only post that has ever offended me. Cuba is not a glamorous Hollywood getaway it is a communist state

Re: Margaux Cruzet – relax honey, they were on vacation for their anniversary, no need to get ur feelings all caught up in it. im sure u have more important things to worry about than way jay and beyonce are doing, they are not hurting u, relax!

beyonce and jay z suck. they could not find a different place in the caribbean to go for vacation. all they want is to make a statement…i thought Americans were not allowed to go to cuba….they are a waste of human flesh!!

You can go to Cuba whenever you want if you are an American citizen

I am more than relaxed…. It's shameful that two people with so much wealth go to such a poor country which so many problems…. for non-humanitarian reasons. If you are not Cuban you would not understand. Let the government tell you you dont own your home, or business anymore… BTW I am a Democrat, so I am not pushed to one extreme or the other. But this is a platform for discussion and I am allowed to voice an issue so dear to my heart. But I can see the content of your character with such a shallow comment.

Yes, you can go to Cuba, Obama loosened restrictions. I am very happy about that because at least families can go bring other members the necessities.

Re: Ashlee – Not without a specific license, and the criterion are very limited and don't fall under 'anniversary trip' as far as I can tell, unless you have special friends.
