Mouseketeer Queen Annette Funicello Dies At 70

annette funicello death

She was the dream of millions of teenagers back when she owned the Mouseketeers.

Annette Funicello was a lady adored for her poise and pizazz on Disney's legendary Mickey Mouse Club, as well as her co-starring contributions to Frankie Avalon's Beach Party movies.

We are very sorry to report that Annette has passed away at the age of 70, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

Her family was by her side on Monday when they decided to end the coma that consumed her for years.

So sad to see such a jewel in the world of entertainment lose her life, but we're hopeful for the peace she and her family may now find that they couldn't in her coma.

As hard as that had to be, the family did the right thing
If you have been in a coma for a long time, your 70 years old, and have no quality of life, time to turn off the machine

My heart goes out to her husband and kids. My brother in law has this disease and the suffering they go thru is awful. Not being able to walk or talk or communicate while your mind is active and knowing that you are a vegetable and cannot communicate?? Her 2nd husband is a damn good man . He took care of his wife ,kept his vows of in sicknesss and in health til death do we part. He never puched her care off on others even at the age of 81 he was there for her. Bless his heart. May her higher power take care of her now,. She was a good woman and her only "scandal" waas getting a divorce and getting out of an unhappy marriage. I am sure the rag mags will find something nasty to say but most people form her generation know she was a damn good woman,
