It is pretty selfish of Jacob to say that he was glad to do this because it was challenging as an actor…who cares if people whose children have been recently killed get hurt in the process of your artistic enlightenment, right? Jerk! Newtown happened only MONTHS ago for f sake.

I'm sick of the Stepford, I mean Newtown people, most of the time they are smiling they are ghoulish. I'm sorry if Newtown really did happen but no one will take my constitutionally protected rights away because they are SCARED.

I'm sorry but that was by FAR the worst executed episode to date. This show has had some amazing episodes and some pretty bad and cheesy ones, but the storyline on this one was so erratic, it had no cohesiveness, the plot was silly, and not once did it address any issues regarding gun violence. if anything it was an excuse for Jane Lynch to bow out of the series, and a pitiful one at that. I do not believe for a second that Sue Sylvester would jeopardize her career and child for a girl she has a strong affinity for. Meanwhile we did not even see Becky's reaction after the fact. Something the writer should have DEFINITELY included. That being said, there were some good acting scenes, especially in the chorus room, but even that did not create a good and watchable episode. FAIL.

If there was no Bram, then maybe I would have liked this episode. This show is going to be cancelled if they keep refusing to show fans what they want

where the f*ck is BRITTANA??? Glee shouldn't handle serious storylines, stick to being a comedy and bring back our fav couples, KLAINE and BRITTANAAAA!!

I'm kinda still mouth opened to the floor at this episode. I think its way to soon, out of character for Glee, and will have repercussions to follow. Glee creator Ryan Murphy is rumored to still be deciding the fate of Glee since he has made no announcement to studios to want to continue. He has New Normal, American Horror Stories, and now producing a show for HBO adult themed. I dont know if this was his way of asking for an out with the network. I dont want to see Glee end. However, they should of never did a show touching on this subject. Its not just about Newton school shooting.

I thought it was in poor taste and boring to boot. This show is way past it's expiration date.

Wow. The reason why it was bogus that they chose Becky to shoot the gun was because they did so to emphasize that guns are only dangerous when in the hands of the mentally ill. Down Syndrome does not represent the mental illnesses of gunmen who shoot up schools. DS is a genetic condition. And Becky has always been portrayed with kindness and a little sass, so to make that connection by exploiting her and her condition is reprehensible.

Speaking of exploitation, these kids were never in any harm. The shooting was an accident. There was no violence. So if their intention was to facilitate gun control conversations, they failed. What they did do was capitalize on victims' fear to manipulate their fans into bonding with new characters and contrived pairings. Clearly, Murphy wants to prolong the Lima side of the show, he's apparently clinging desperately and overstepped his bounds, not to mention, overestimated his relevance.

i have never watched an episode of glee but shame on them. what a PATHETIC way to get viewers. as for the actors agreeing to this, they could have protested doing such a distasteful episode.

Sounds more like they were exploiting a tragedy to try and boost their sagging ratings.

We all have our own opinions but I thought the show was really good. It takes some amazing actors to be able to act like that. You may disagree but it was one of my favorite episodes of Glee, ever. And they didn't try to make Becky seem like the bad one just because she has downs syndrome. It was a very good episode.

I LOVE THIS EPISODE! It's just amazing and by far, my favourite one. Understand it, "Glee" is a DRAMATIC COMEDY. It was very powerful and it CAN happen in real life. And if you guys feel "offended", think about the gleek's, we feel the same way with your comments. I was starting to hate Glee few weeks ago, but this episode made me remind why I love this awesome show.

Re: Chandler02 – Actually, it was very intense, it is a hard work to do it as well as he did. I feel proud of the cast and show.

FOX literally aired a very unambiguous warning about the episode's content every single ad break. If people think it is too soon and that FOX shouldn't have aired it, they should remember that everyone watching knew full well what the episode was about.

I thought this episode was so emotional - a great improvement from past episodes. Shows like Glee should show the seriousness of shootings and gun violence, and teach kids from an early age how it can impact people. They should have done more connecting to other world issues.
Sorry to say it, but I think that Gleeks will be the only fandom to see their show come to an end.
